Sure enough, wisps of black blood could be seen seeping from these fragments, constantly connecting with nearby pieces and coalescing together.
It looked like the Black Symbiote Dragon would be able to resurrect again in no time.
Being able to resurrect even after being chopped into pieces—this is already more badass than Wolverine's regenerative abilities!
I'm afraid only Deadpool, cursed with immortality in the comics, could compare to it!
So the question arises: if the Black Symbiote Dragon won't die even like this, how do you kill it?
The answer is...
Don't kill it.
Ryan has a way to completely kill it, for instance, by using Infinite Power to violently evaporate it until not a single drop of blood remains, so it naturally wouldn't be able to rely on that eerie black blood to resurrect.
But Ryan doesn't intend to do that.
Because it is still useful to him, and there's no need to kill it.
Reality isn't a game; you don't have to force yourself to clear level after level just to meet the boss at the final stage.
He can completely skip the Black Symbiote Dragon stage and go straight to fight Knull!
While the Black Symbiote Dragon was still recovering, Ryan, ignoring conventional logic, dove headfirst into the underground fissure that the Black Symbiote Dragon had crashed out of!
Boom— With a thunderous crash, Ryan slammed into a dark space deep within the Earth's core!
This was Knull's place of imprisonment!
Sizzle— Amidst the rising dust, a tall figure slowly walked out, dragging a sword, creating a trail of harsh sparks.
On the pitch-black throne, Knull raised his head, his cold eyes locked onto the man wearing silver armor but wielding his all-black the necrosword, and said coldly:
"Are you the host of that traitorous Symbiote who killed Gorr?"
Ryan stopped ten steps away from Knull, leaning on his sword, and said indifferently: "Traitor? Before Riot became my subordinate, it might have indeed been a traitor that betrayed you, its former Master, but now it has joined me. In my Universe, only those who oppose me are rebels, so..."
"Don't get it wrong, you, Knull, are the traitor, while Riot is actually a hero who once saved the Universe and prevented it from falling into darkness!"
"You dare call me a traitor? You are too arrogant!" Hearing Ryan's tone, Knull's voice grew colder, laced with a hint of anger.
To this, Ryan showed disdain: "If you aren't convinced, you can choose to stand up and beat me up, provided that you, a guy who is trapped on a toilet just like Loki, can actually stand up..."
Hearing Ryan's provocation, Knull abruptly stood up from the throne and strode toward Ryan, seemingly wanting to teach him a lesson personally.
But before he could take two steps, his body was immediately entangled by countless pitch-black tentacles, dragging him back to the throne!
The veins on Knull's neck bulged; it was clear he really wanted to go forward and beat Ryan, but every step forward seemed incredibly difficult!
"Tsk tsk, the legendary Lord of the Abyss, Knull, who is older than the birth of the new Universe, fought against the Celestials, and nearly plunged the primordial Universe into darkness, is now truly in such a pathetic state, without a shred of dignity..."
Ryan stood where he was, his tone seemingly filled with both lament and mockery.
Knull was like a fierce tiger tied up by iron chains; although the lingering might of the king of beasts remained, for people, the danger had been significantly reduced.
"Black Dragon!!!" After trying several times and still being unable to get close to his opponent, Knull couldn't help but roar, wanting to summon the Black Symbiote Dragon again to tear Ryan to pieces.
But a 'Thump—' sound came from above; the Black Symbiote Dragon, which had already recovered from its fragmented state, did not appear.
Knull looked closely and discovered that the fissure on the surface above had been covered by a layer of seven-colored energy at some point!
And that huge commotion just now was caused by the Black Symbiote Dragon crashing into it!
This was naturally the Ten Rings cape.
Seeing this, Knull smiled grimly:
"Do you think this alone can stop the immortal Black Dragon? Naive! The Black Dragon is immortal. Even if you are indeed a bit stronger than the Black Dragon, you will sooner or later exhaust your power and die under the Black Dragon's claws!"
"If you run away now, you might live a little longer, but it will chase you until the Universe is destroyed, it will kill everyone around you, and finally kill you, until it gets the Codex and releases me!"
Following Knull's words, the Black Symbiote Dragon above opened its mouth again and spewed flames comparable to the temperature of the Sun!
The Ten Rings energy cape was melting at a visible rate under this Fire.
However, Ryan was not panicked in the slightest; he didn't feel any fear toward the Dragon's Fire or Knull's words.
He is the type of person who can take anything, except pressure!
Ryan waved his left hand, and the six Infinity Rings flew out, instantly covering the original Ten Rings energy cape.
Infinite Power immediately surged from the six rings into the energy cape, causing the cape, which had been melting, to stabilize immediately, and the energy layer became even thicker!
No matter how the Black Symbiote Dragon spewed Fire, it could no longer burn through the energy cape reinforced by the six Infinity Rings!
This stunned Knull, who saw this scene, and he muttered: "The Black Dragon's Fire can easily destroy a Planet. What is that thing you have that can actually block the Black Dragon's Fire?"
Ryan tilted his head and said indifferently:
"That's why I said your version is outdated, and you didn't believe me. This is the version answer from after you were sealed: the embodiment of the six major cosmic rule abilities produced after the Big Bang—the Infinity Stones."
"The six of them represent the six rule powers of the entire Universe. Unless that Symbiote Black Dragon of yours has the ability to destroy the Universe, even if it spews Fire outside for a lifetime, it will be of no use."
"Infinity Stones that represent cosmic rules? To think such things exist..." Knull's expression tightened, but he immediately sneered:
"Haha, but so what? Even if they are the embodiment of rules after the Big Bang, I am a creature born before the Big Bang. They are completely ineffective against me. How do you intend to kill me?"
"You must know that the reason those traitors sealed me instead of killing me is because I am immortal. If you force your way to kill me, you will only destroy the seal and help me escape, hahahaha!"
Ryan stood where he was, one hand leaning on his sword, the other rubbing his chin: "That's right, Riot already told me these things before, which is why I wasted so much breath talking to you instead of finishing you off the moment I arrived—I was thinking about this problem..."
