"Eitri, let me introduce you. This is the new Lord of Midgard and King of the Frost Giants, Ryan Parker."
"These two are his consorts, Gwen Stacy."
After a brief exchange of pleasantries, Odin reached out and introduced Ryan and the two Gwens to Eitri.
Eitri placed his hand over his chest and bowed slightly to Ryan and the two Gwens: "King Parker, your two consorts, welcome to Nidavellir!"
"King Parker?" Ryan was somewhat speechless at this title: "You should just call me Ryan."
Eitri didn't stand on ceremony and laughed: "Alright, Ryan."
Ryan nodded and smiled as well:
"I have long heard that the Dwarves use a neutron star as a forge, and the Dwarf King's forging skills are the best in the Universe. I have come here today to ask the Dwarf King for a favor!"
Upon hearing this, Eitri's face lit up with a smile, clearly pleased: "Hahaha, those are just empty titles. You are a friend of His Majesty Odin, so naturally, you are my friend as well. Tell me what help you need!"
"Direct! I like that!" Ryan pointed to the destroyer armor that had teleported with them: "I need you to help me modify the destroyer armor and add a biological fusion function!"
"Modify the destroyer armor?" Eitri's eyes were full of surprise.
He had found it strange earlier when he saw Odin bring the destroyer armor along.
After all, ever since Asgard stopped waging war across the Universe, Odin hadn't worn the destroyer armor for thousands of years.
But now, hearing Ryan's tone, it seemed Odin had gifted the destroyer armor to this Lord of Midgard!
One had to know this was one of Asgard's greatest treasures. How could Odin be willing to part with it?
Eitri looked at Odin with a puzzled expression.
Odin's expression remained calm, and he nodded at Eitri: "I did indeed give the destroyer armor to Ryan today as payment. Whether in strength or potential, he is more worthy of the destroyer armor than I am!"
Hearing Odin's confirmation, Eitri didn't pry further and nodded in agreement:
"Alright, since His Majesty Odin has gifted the destroyer armor to you, and as it is one of my proudest creations, I will naturally provide after-sales service. Adding a biological fusion function is simple for me; it should take about two days. Furthermore, if you need any further modifications or repairs for the destroyer armor in the future, you can always come to me!"
Although Eitri didn't ask about the specifics, he understood Odin's hint that Ryan was very powerful, and he extended a gesture of goodwill toward Ryan.
In plain terms, he intended to broaden his path!
After all, Odin was old, and no one knew when he might pass away.
As the Dwarf King, Eitri had to start looking for a new backer for his Dwarves.
Otherwise, as a race capable of forging divine artifacts, once their protector deity Odin died, there was no telling how many powerful individuals or interstellar empires would target the Dwarves!
Ryan understood the Dwarf King's gesture of goodwill and nodded with satisfaction: "Then I will trouble the Dwarf King with this matter. In the future, if you have any trouble, you can just mention my name to the other party. If mentioning my name doesn't work, I guarantee that I will help you take revenge by wiping out their entire race!"
Hearing such a hardcore response from Ryan, the Dwarf King Eitri was momentarily at a loss for words.
Finally, Eitri could only reply dryly: "Uh, then I thank you on behalf of the Dwarves..."
"No need to thank me, I have always been clear about my grievances and debts~" Ryan waved his hand dismissively.
"You will realize the weight of Ryan's words in the future..." Odin patted Eitri's thigh again, his tone profound.
Odin knew that this young man, who was even more reckless than he had been in his youth, was not joking when he said he would help the Dwarf King take revenge by wiping out the other party's entire race; he would genuinely do it!
"Alright, Eitri, we need to head to the next location, so we won't stay here any longer. Next time, I'll treat you to a drink."
Odin said goodbye to Eitri, who was still in a daze.
Eitri scratched his head: "Alright, though it should be me treating you to a drink. You came all this way, and I haven't even properly hosted you before you're leaving..."
"Next time. As for me now, I have plenty of time." Odin smiled.
Eitri caught the implication behind Odin's words and was pleasantly surprised.
This meant that Odin would not die and return to Valhalla as soon as expected!
This meant that Nidavellir would be even safer under Odin's continued protection!
How could Eitri not be happy about this!
Seeing that the two had finished talking, Ryan spoke up:
"Dwarf King, I have authorized you to handle the destroyer armor. You can modify it however you like. I will come back to collect it in two days."
"No problem, Ryan. I will definitely complete the modifications for you within two days!"
Eitri patted his chest in assurance.
Odin nodded at Eitri one last time, struck his gungnir against the ground, and the beam of the Bifrost Bridge enveloped them once again.
However, this time, the Bifrost Bridge did not transport them back to Asgard, but instead to a place of darkness.
This place seemed like a void, with nothing but the stone path beneath their feet and a massive, square stone pillar on the altar that reached into the sky.
"What is this place?"
Loki looked around, somewhat surprised.
As the know-it-all of Asgard, he actually didn't know such a place existed within the Nine Realms.
However, among those present, besides the two Gwens, Loki was the only one who didn't know where this was.
Even One-Eyed Thor, having already experienced the Dark Elves incident once, guessed where they were, even though he had never been here personally.
One-Eyed Thor said in a deep voice: "This is the place where the Aether Particle, the greatest treasure of the Dark Elves, is sealed. It is also where my Mother in that Universe met her end!"
Upon hearing this, Loki, who had been relaxed just moments ago as if on vacation, instantly became panicked:
"Thor, what did you just say?! You said the thing here causes Mother's death?! Then let's not touch it. Let's leave immediately and let it remain sealed here forever!"
Loki hadn't panicked when he learned he had an incredibly powerful sister, nor when he knew his sister might vie for his throne, but upon learning that his Mother might die, he truly panicked.
It was a feeling of stiffening that made him feel as if he had fallen into an ice cellar, even more intense than when he first learned he was a Frost Giant.
Just then, a warm hand was placed on Loki's stiff shoulder.
Loki turned his head to look, and it was his Mother, Queen Frigga.
Frigga wore a gentle smile: "Don't worry, my child. You have already saved me. This time, I will not leave you again to face the unknown future alone..."
