Chapter 150 - Chapter 150: Rin Attacking the Clock Tower, Conspiracy and Manaka!

After Rin obtained 'official' authorization by using a bottle of the Potion of Youth she had acquired from Gilgamesh, she began her attack on the Clock Tower.

Lorelei's aunt was currently standing in the lobby of the Clock Tower headquarters, constantly issuing orders to other Magus.

"Quickly send your family's elites over! As long as Geryon returns from Spirit Tomb Albion, we will definitely secure victory!"

The Magus representatives from the other families looked at each other and fell into silence. It wasn't until the first one stood up and stated they would immediately send family elites as reinforcements that other Magus families began to respond, though a group of Magi still chose to leave then and there.

Meanwhile, Rin had also arrived at the outskirts of the Clock Tower campus. Facing the Magi who were as if confronting a great enemy, Rin gave a slight smile and casually waved the cartas orthodoxa in her hand, causing massive spatial fragments to be born out of thin air.

These Magi, who were used as cannon fodder to guard the outskirts, had no real skill. Among those who didn't understand what they were facing, except for a few clever ones, most were crushed into dust by the spatial fragments.

Rin, her mind filled with anger, didn't care at all about these Magi who had become dust. She waved the cartas orthodoxa in her hand again, creating an even larger spatial fragment and smashing it toward the main gate of the Clock Tower campus.

Accompanied by a loud crash, the Clock Tower, which had never been attacked in its over two thousand years of history, had its dignity trampled underfoot by Rin at this moment.

If Rin were to pay attention to her status now, she would find that her Divinity had actually begun to soar to Rank B. Normally, when not in the Ishtar state, Rin's Divinity should only be Rank D.

It seemed that the cartas magecraft Rin activated this time hadn't just brought her Michael's power; it was likely that Michael himself had descended.

Stepping over the gate that had already turned into ruins, Rin entered the Clock Tower campus, pulling back the curtain on the conflict between Chaldea and the Clock Tower.

Having just stepped into the campus, Rin was soon intercepted by a large number of Magi. At the same time, the teleportation lights illuminating various faculty buildings indicated that a steady stream of Magi was arriving as reinforcements.

"Martha! Cover me."

Martha, appearing at Rin's call, glanced at the current Rin.

She rubbed her eyes in disbelief and murmured.

'Michael!'

However, as countless types of magecraft attacked, Martha had no time to confirm. She could only swing her iron fists to begin covering Rin's spellcasting.

Rin held the cartas orthodoxa high, three pairs of pure white wing phantoms appearing behind her back as she chanted continuously.

Realizing something was wrong, the Magi launched even more frantic attacks. Various magecraft and Great Magecraft were thrown at Rin without any regard for the consequences. However, under Martha's iron-wall-like protection, they were all useless struggles.

"All-Dimensional Severance!"

Accompanied by the sound of glass shattering, the teleportation channels of the entire Clock Tower were instantly severed by Rin, turning into spatial fragments that fell from the sky like a meteor shower toward the Clock Tower.

A leading Magus, looking at the spatial fragments falling from the sky, shouted anxiously to those around him.

"Quickly, deploy defensive magecraft!"

"Don't! Dodge!"

Another Magus with some knowledge quickly objected.

But there was no time to argue. Except for a few Magi who believed the latter and chose to dodge, most of the Magi who deployed defensive magecraft were mixed into the earth and turned to dust under the spatial fragments.

Having cleared out more than eighty percent of the Magi in an instant, Rin ignored the survivors who were now like birds startled by the mere twang of a bowstring and led Martha toward the main building of the Clock Tower.

Meanwhile, at Chaldea, the members who received the notice showed looks of disbelief, and many had already begun to tear off their name tags.

The Team A members, who the Old Director had given special care to 'during his lifetime', were currently staying in a corner of the hall, looking at Olga Marie on the high platform with a contemptuous smile.

Ophelia brushed her hair and turned to look at Kirschtaria Wodime.

"Captain, what is our choice?"

"We stay and see the plan my teacher left behind. Besides, I'm also very curious about that woman, Rin Tohsaka!"

Then Kirschtaria pointed at Touko, who was standing in the corner with a calm expression, and spoke.

"Furthermore, if we make any suspicious moves now, we'll likely have to face that lady. I don't think any of us want to be her enemy, right?"

Just as the other Team A members fell into silence, Akuta Hina closed the book in her hand and turned to walk out of the hall.

The white-haired Kadoc Zemlupus turned his head and asked Akuta Hina.

"Where are you planning to go?"

"It's too boring. I'm going to check on that fellow Mash..."

Fujino, standing on the high platform, looked at the various reactions of the Chaldea personnel below, a dangerous look appearing in her eyes. Then, she seamlessly turned her head and exchanged a glance with Touko.

Touko nodded to Fujino understandingly and then disappeared from the hall. No one saw this, but it was likely that none of the Magi who chose to quit Chaldea today would see tomorrow's sun.

Inside the main hall of the Clock Tower's main building, Rin severed Lorelei's aunt's left leg with a single sword strike, leaving her to wail on the ground while clutching her stump.

Then she scanned the representatives of the various families on the ground, who were missing limbs.

"I think you can tell me who the mastermind behind all this really is!"

Lorelei's aunt clutched her severed left leg, glaring at Rin with gritted teeth as she clamored.

"We won't tell you anything! 'Bitch', just you wait! When Geryon returns, it will be the day you die!"

"Are you counting on the Department of Policies? Then how about I wave the cartas in my hand and sever the space of the Observatory Carillon, letting it fall into the Sea of Stars!"

As she spoke, Rin raised the cartas in her hand, making a motion as if to strike.

"You can't do it!"

At this moment, Rin, heavily influenced by Michael, had a change in her expression upon hearing Lorelei's aunt's words, and she swung the cartas down with all her might.

Suddenly, a small hand reached out from the void and actually caught the cartas swung with the full power of Michael's strength.

"Sorry, Rin-chan, Mama won't allow you to do that!"

Rin looked solemnly at Sajyou Manaka, who had emerged from a light gate, and pulled back the cartas, looking at Sajyou Manaka warily.

The Magi on the ground with missing limbs saw Sajyou Manaka's arrival and one after another cried out to her for help.

"Lady Manaka, please save us!"

"Lady Manaka, hurry and kill this 'bitch'!"

...A large group of Magi wailed while continuously making noise, making Manaka unable to help but frown. Then, an irritated Manaka reached out her small hand and snapped her fingers crisply.

Then, it became quiet. Dark red flames instantly consumed these Magi, turning them into a pile of ashes in just a single second.

Rin wiped the sweat sliding down her face. Even Rin, who had borrowed Michael's power, couldn't help but be covered in sweat under this terrifying heat, showing how high the temperature of these flames was.

"Manaka, it's you, isn't it? You're the one who orchestrated all of this, right? Why?"

"Of course, it's to let Rin-chan keep moving forward!"
