Chapter 65 - Chapter 65: Muscle-Bound Rin and the Lady Crane—Kayneth's Dream!

A large number of customers in the mall looked up curiously toward the top floor, where noises were constantly coming from.

"Are they renovating?"

Top floor wrestling practice room.

An absent-minded Rin and an excited Luvia began an intense struggle.

Using her nimble footwork, Rin constantly dodged Luvia's grappling attempts.

"Rin, is dodging all you can do?"

"No, Luvia."

Smack! Rin took advantage of the gap in Luvia's speech to strike her in the chest, sending Luvia flying back to crash heavily against the wall.

Luvia clutched her chest, her face flushed as she stood back up.

"Where are you hitting?! Dammit! Rin, don't let me catch you!"

Rin assumed a boxing stance and beckoned Luvia with her finger.

"Come."

"Damn you!"

Luvia took a deep breath and lunged at Rin with a flying knee. Rin crossed her arms to take the blow, then slid her left foot between Luvia's legs, using the momentum to drive her shoulder into Luvia's chest.

As Luvia was knocked over, a sharp glint flashed in her eyes. The moment she hit the ground, she wrapped her legs around Rin's left leg and pulled, dragging Rin down with her.

'Not good, I can't beat this girl in a ground game.'

Just as Rin expected, as soon as she hit the ground, Luvia swarmed over her. After only a brief struggle, Luvia had her in a chokehold.

Rin channeled a large amount of magical energy to reinforce her neck and maintain her breathing, then began trying to pry Luvia's hands open.

"Stop struggling, Rin. I'll let go as soon as you admit defeat, otherwise I'll choke you unconscious!"

After finally getting into position, Rin struggled to her feet, bringing Luvia up with her. Having gained some room to maneuver, Rin repeatedly unleashed her'Scorpio Tail Whip.'

Smack!

Smack!

Smack!

Because of the height difference, Rin's legs could only kick Luvia's buttocks.

Feeling the burning sensation on her rear, Luvia couldn't help but loosen the strength in her arms.

Rin took the opportunity to pry Luvia's arms open and escaped her lock.

"Cough, cough, cough!"

Luvia, her face flushed red, clutched her buttocks and glared with shame and indignation at Rin, who was coughing and clutching her throat nearby.

"How did you become so dirty?"

"Cough, it was an accident. Alright, let's call it a day."

Hearing Rin's words, Luvia proudly put her hands on her hips.

"Fine, but Rin, consider today your loss."

Rin, who was already somewhat distracted, waved her hand dismissively.

"Fine, I lose!"

Seeing Rin admit defeat so easily, Luvia lost her enthusiasm. 'There's no sense of accomplishment like this!'

After relaying Rin's request to Marisbury Animusphere, the Astronomy Branch Lord, Waver arrived at Kayneth's office.

"Master, why did you ask for me?"

Sitting at his desk, Kayneth looked at the entering Waver. He first opened a drawer, pulled out an invitation, and placed it on the desk before speaking to Waver.

"Waver, keep this invitation safe. For this Mystic Eye Collection Train, you will bring Gray and accompany me."

Waver pulled over a nearby stool, walked to the desk, and sat opposite Kayneth. He then took a pre-cut cigar from Kayneth's desk and slowly lit it.

"Is this still for Rin? Master, don't you think you're sacrificing too much for her?"

Kayneth didn't answer Waver's question, but instead suddenly spoke of a dream.

"Waver, on the first night after I returned from participating in the Holy Grail War, I had a dream—a terrifying dream!"

Waver looked at Kayneth in confusion, waiting for him to continue.

"I dreamed that I died in the Holy Grail War, killed by Kiritsugu Emiya. Sola also betrayed me and died in that ruined factory. The Magic Crest was destroyed, and the El-Melloi family fell into ruin. A young Reines found you and had you inherit my position as Lord..."

At this point, Kayneth stopped, a hint of fear showing in his eyes as he picked up the cigar from the desk and put it in his mouth.

Waver took out a lighter to light the cigar for Kayneth and asked in confusion.

"Master, that was just a dream. Why do you care so much?"

Kayneth exhaled a cloud of smoke and said slowly.

"Waver, that wasn't a dream. It was too real. It was as if I had experienced it all once before, and..."

Kayneth removed his glove, revealing old scars on his hand.

"I've always told you that I was accidentally injured during an experiment, right? No! In truth, these appeared on my hand the morning after I had that dream. At the same time, a voice in my heart has been telling me that it was because of Rin that all of this changed, and only Rin can make El-Melloi soar."

Waver's pupils shrank as he looked at Kayneth in stunned silence.

"Master! Could it be some Phantasmal Species or some kind of Mystery at work?"

Kayneth put his glove back on and shook his head at Waver.

"Waver, whatever could enter my dreams so silently and leave scars on my hand—whatever it is, we have no way to resist it, do we?"

Kayneth then put down his cigar, stood up, and went to the window, looking out at the heavy rain with his hands behind his back.

"Waver, since we can't resist, we might as well follow 'its' arrangements. Besides, helping Rin has brought no small benefit to our El-Melloi family."

Waver picked up the invitation from the desk, tucked it into his coat, stood up, and bowed to Kayneth with his hand over his chest.

"I understand, Master."

"Good. Just don't forget to bring your disciple, Gray!"

"Yes, Master!"

As evening approached, Rin, who had been drinking tea with Luvia all afternoon, rubbed her full stomach. Looking at the heavy rain outside, which showed no sign of stopping, she helplessly called Waver.

Rin then stood up to say goodbye to Luvia and went to the entrance of the shopping center.

Before long, Waver drove up to the entrance in his car.

Rin carefully avoided several puddles, walked to Waver's car, opened the door, and got in.

Taking the towel Waver handed her, she wiped the rain from her head and face.

"Thanks, Waver. Sorry to trouble you to come pick me up."

Waver put away the towel and started the car, eyes fixed forward.

"I received your message. I was going to send a servant, but I just happened to get off work, so I came myself."

Rin rested her chin on her hand, looking at the rainy scenery outside, and asked casually.

"Waver, do you still have the catalyst you used to summon the King of Conquerors?"

"I've kept it well-preserved. Why, Rin, is there a problem?"

"Nothing, just asking."

After the car returned to the castle, Rin took a bath alone, then was led by a servant to the dining room.

Kayneth, sitting at the head of the table, greeted Rin as she walked in and then asked.

"Rin, how was your trip to the Clock Tower today?"

"It was good. It truly is the highest academy in the world of magecraft."

Sola, beside Kayneth, said with a smile.

"So, Rin, do you have any plans to take a position at the Clock Tower? Our Mineralogy Branch would very much welcome you to teach."

Rin first looked at Sakura and Fujino beside her before slowly speaking.

"I do have a plan to move my family to England after the next Holy Grail War is over. However, there are still some issues that haven't been handled, so I can't decide on a position at the Clock Tower for now."

Waver looked at Rin in surprise.

"You plan to give up the Tohsaka Family's spiritual leylines and ancestral property in Fuyuki City?"

"No, it's just my family moving. I can entrust the management of the leylines and ancestral property to Touko Aozaki. If Touko is unwilling, I can also entrust it to the local church or other acquaintances. I won't give up the leylines and ancestral property."

At this point, Reines, who was nearby, said with a smile.

"Aren't you afraid someone will plot to seize your Tohsaka Family's leylines and ancestral property..."
