Liam visibly flinches at Jane's words and lets go of her, blushing slightly. His hands are still tingling with the contact. Liam straitens himself but is still blushing his peeks slightly pink.
Liam: Sorry ma'am
Jane: Don't make the same mistake again.
Liam: Yes ma'am
Jane nods once and walks away but she feels a loss of warmth all the way home.
The next day Liam is called into the director's office his heart was thumping loud and his mind was reeling God what did I do someone save me I did nothing wrong right? RIGHT? I accidentally bumped into Ms. Jane but that doesn't mean I wouldn't get arrested right? In the office the second he entered he saw Jane sitting on the chair in front of the director's desk. Liam gave a polite nod and sits on the chair beside Jane. The director Mr. Cha clears his throat.
Director Cha: Agent Walker Agent Walter I have a task for both of you we need to catch a criminal named Alfonso Valdez. He's been going rogue he stole the famous red dot painting. (Authors note: Guys this painting is not real just fiction made up by me)
Jane: Name of the criminal.
Director Cha: He calls himself the Black Thief.
Jane: I'll find him do you want him alive or dead?
Liam: Wait...dead?
Director Cha: Alive.
Jane: I'll get to work.
Director Cha: No Agent Walter This is a team mission.
Jane: I work alone.
Director Cha: Today you'll have to change your rules no buts.
Jane: Fine.
Liam: I have to work with Ma'am?
Director Cha: Yes Agent Walker no buts from you either.
Outside the office Jane is walking to her own office while Liam is walking beside her Liam glances at Jane from the corner of his eye and notices her stiff posture. He can't help but notice the lack of emotions from her face it was like she was a rock but despite everything Liam thought she was pretty with her dark brown curly hair and light brown eyes God she's beautiful.
Jane: You're staring it's...disturbing.
Liam: S-sorry
Jane: Now that we're working together know this I do not like dumb questions this is strictly business I am not your friend neither are you my friend.

Jane opens her office door motioning for Liam to go inside. Liam quietly goes in and Jane tells him to sit down when he sits down he looks around there were only one picture of her and Ms. Holister Maybe their friends. The office was very different from the director's as if no one sat there everyday. Jane sits down on the chair in front of her desk.
Jane: So I'll look into the Black Thief's background and find his name.
Liam: Yeah okay...I look forward to working with you.
Jane stills for a second then scoffs.
Jane: You don't mean that.
Liam: I-I do! I've never had a partner before.
Jane: You're new to this.
Liam locks his gaze with hers. Jane looks away after a moment.
Jane: I'll see you tomorrow at 2pm not a minute late.
Liam: Y-yes ma'am.
