The sound of the door opening was heard as the injured Ye Chen staggered inside. His whole face has been bruised to the extent of being unrecognizable.

The pain was really immense for such a little guy as he struggled in.
"Chen'er what happen to you!"
A feminine panic voice resounded at this moment as the sound of rushing steps followed.
As Ye Chen was about to fall, he was held up by the other person in the room.
"Chen'er what happen, who dares hit you"
The voice sounded again but this time it was filled immense anger and care. The person was a beautiful maiden with a grand long black hair, her face was oval and her shape was giving that of a killer vibe.
"It's okay aunty Meng, I just had a little accident while coming back"
Ye Chen didn't dare tell the truth cause he knew how troublesome this aunty of his would become if she knew he was been bullied.
"Hmm?.. ok take this pill" aunty Meng did not push the matter and handed him a white pill.

Unexpectedly Ye Chen felt a soothing energy been released into his and that made him moan out as if asking for more of that soothing energy.
"Hehe you seem to like that, don't worry I have more of those"
Aunty Meng who seems to be angry a while ago has become rather calm all of a sudden but Ye Chen didn't notice at all.
"I heard that tomorrow will be the exploration of the star rift" aunty Meng ask as she walked towards a cushion and take a sit.
"Yes" Ye Chen also followed and rested his butt on the side.
"That means you won't be going to the institute tomorrow, here are some healing pills that can help you with your injuries faster"
Aunty Meng brought out a cube like mechanical device and in it was a couple of white color floating.
"Hehe who told you I won't be going to school tomorrow"
Ye Chen replied as he took the pill storage device from aunty Meng, he wasn't surprise by that as the technology been used currently had evolved to another level.
"Hmm?" Aunty Meng was confused, she knew that Ye Chen was a cripple cause he had no special ability and he was not the type that love pushing things harder.
"Don't worry aunty Meng, I know what I'm doing" Ye Chen replied with confidence in his voice.

Ye Chen thought as he clench his fist tightly.
This small change in emotion could not excape the notice of aunty Meng but she didn't say anything as she seems to like this determine self of Ye Chen.

"Hey I heard our academy is not the only one that will be exploring the star rift"
"Hehe do you think the star rift is an ant cage, the rift is very large to the extent that the academies had not explore it to the end since all this years"

Students of the crimson dawn institute has gathered within the academy hall, the hall was as big as tens of fields and there was a large podium raised at fore front.
"You guys should seize your tongue the principal is here"
An elegant looking man walked up the podium with a swagged steeze, his bearing alone was like that of a giant landing on the ant planes making the noisy hall quieting down.
His expression was as stiff as that of an iron stone putting an invisible pressure on the students.
"I hope all students from grade 3 and grade 4 are present"
"Yes sir!"
The principal that had just arrived asked a question loudly and all students present replied.
"Most of you really don't know who am I but all you need to know currently is that I am known as principal Zhen"
The principal introduced himself to the students.
"So let get straight to the point, the exploration to the star rift this time is quite special and for safety purpose, teachers would be assigned to each group"
"You should already know there would be other academy that would be exploring the rift with us so everyone must stay vigilant and be sure to stay away from trouble…
Principal Zhen spoke about the star rift to the students for about half an hour before leaving the hall without looking back.
"Now students grade 3 and 4 below the age of 16 should step forward and those above can take their leave"
Suddenly one of the teacher in the hall also walked u to the podium and spoke something that astounded the students.
"What when did the exploration to the star rift has to do with age requirement"
"No this can't be I've already boasted about going into the star rift"
"Since that the case I will just pretend to be at the age of 15"
Many students above the said age was lamenting and having the same idea of by passing the rule but some students were honest and left the hall with only a hint of depression.

An extremely black pillar rose from the middle of the podium exactly beside the teacher standing there.
"Now all students are to approach one after the other and place thier hands on the pillar which would determine the age of each person and for those whose age is above 16 and still dares to come, there would be a punishment for that"
Hearing what the teacher said those who still had a little hope felt hopeless immediately.
The age checking started immediately and everytime someone touches the black pillar it will glow with a blue light approving of the person that place thier palm on it.

"I also don't know why would he use a hood to cover off his face"
"Maybe his face his ugly and does not dare show it"

The hooded person also approach the pillar and qualify for the star rift exploration.

The hooded person wore the device bracelet without hesitation cause he was not the first person given this.
This was a device that's already has the explored map of the star rift and also a locator like device that make it easier for anybody to be found if lost in the rift and as long as it's activated, it glows a blue light.
"Hmph"
"He thought I won't recognize him if he covered his face?"
Long Yun thought as he stared daggers at the person hidden thier face in hood.
"Once you encounter him in the rift make sure to take care of him no matter what"
