But there were also cases where the family council was called to make certain complicated decisions, judge family members, and deal punishments.
Seth, hearing he was being summoned, couldn't help but feel the latter was more likely to happen, seeing that he had never been summoned before.
Maya frowned as she stared at the twins. "As you can see, he just came to. Doesn't he deserve to at least rest before he can be discharged?"
Helen shook her head. "We consulted Doctor Tion, and he claimed Seth had completely recovered physically. He can be discharged whenever."
Maya wanted to argue, but Seth placed a hand on her shoulder. Staring at her softly, he assured, "It's okay."
