Chapter 120 - Chapter 120: The Final Step

"It's the God of Destruction!!!"

The Hidden Leaf Village ninja snapped back to their senses. When they saw the massive figure descending from the sky, they all cried out in shock.

Hiruzen Sarutobi had been straining with all his strength to hold back the Nine-Tails, sweat pouring down his face. Now that the pressure suddenly lifted, he couldn't help but let out a long breath of relief.

"The God of Destruction… why is it here…?"

"ROAR!!"

The Colossal Titan let out a furious roar, pinning the Nine-Tails' neck and hammering its head with two heavy punches. Already dazed from being sat on, the Nine-Tails grew even more disoriented.

"Ro—!"

Just as the Nine-Tails raised its head to roar, another punch smashed its mouth shut.

"Heh. Nine-Tails… looks like nothing special. Just a beast relying on its size."

Kokushibo let out a soft chuckle, but then saw the Nine-Tails' tails suddenly coil around the Colossal Titan's arm, forcing it to stop attacking. The beast planted its limbs and stood back up, two of its tails lashing viciously across the Titan's face.

"Tch."

Kokushibo rubbed his cheek.

"Bertholdt… seriously, that was pathetic. Getting your face slapped like that—damn."

"Whatever, better notify the main body."

He formed a hand seal and instantly dispersed into white smoke.

"Damn it, what the hell is this thing—why is it so strong?!"

Bertholdt controlled the Colossal Titan, desperately trying to wrench its arms free. But no matter how hard he pulled, he couldn't overpower the Nine-Tails' tails. Even when he released scorching steam at full force, it didn't affect the Nine-Tails in the slightest.

It wasn't supposed to be a strength-type, yet its power wasn't any weaker than the Five-Tails.

Akashō had already absorbed plenty of knowledge about the shinobi world, so he knew the nine tailed beasts each had their specialties. The Five-Tails was famous for strength—while the Nine-Tails was known for its chakra.

Bertholdt clamped the Colossal Titan's legs tightly around the Nine-Tails' neck. Come on, Minato Namikaze… hurry up.

...

"They've started fighting over there?"

Doflamingo dropped into the underground tunnel and looked toward Akashō, who was still using the cat-girl template.

"Yeah. Kokushibo dispelled his shadow clone. Bertholdt's riding the Nine-Tails."

As soon as Akashō received the memory feedback from Kokushibo, he relayed it to Doflamingo through malicious intent. What caught his attention more, however, was Kokushibo's deduction.

Shadow clones were ridiculously useful—not just in combat, but also for strategy, allowing multiple perspectives to analyze and reach conclusions.

The Third Hokage… the strongest Hokage… could that old man really be such a schemer?

"Forget it. Now's not the time to think about that. We need to catch up to Minato and make sure the plan goes smoothly."

Akashō shook his head, then immediately called Doflamingo and leapt out of the tunnel, rushing toward the Nine-Tails.

Meanwhile, on the battlefield, the Colossal Titan was clamping the Nine-Tails midair, almost like they were bungee jumping. Buildings all around collapsed as the beast thrashed wildly.

Before long, the Titan ran out of strength, its legs loosening as it slid off the Nine-Tails' neck. In an instant, the Nine-Tails' tails grabbed it, flipped their positions, and slammed it beneath its body. With savage brutality, it tore into the Titan's already fragile form, shredding it like a ragged doll.

"So even the God of Destruction can't handle the Nine-Tails…"

Hiruzen Sarutobi stood at the front of the Hidden Leaf ninja, his expression cold.

"Alright. We don't know why the God of Destruction appeared here or why it helped us against the Nine-Tails—but it's still a good thing. Get ready. Once it loses, it'll be our turn."

"Yes, sir!"

"ROAR!!"

The Nine-Tails roared, its nine tails wrapping around the Colossal Titan's limbs. Its claws pinned down the Titan's shoulders, locking it firmly in place. Then it opened its mouth wide, gathering red and blue chakra.

Looking at the massive Tailed Beast Bomb forming inches from his face, Bertholdt twitched.

"Damn it… if that thing fires, I'm done. Can't hold on any longer—time for a second transformation."

But just as he was about to abandon the Titan's nape and trigger another explosive transformation to disrupt the situation, both giant monsters suddenly vanished from the center of the Hidden Leaf Village—leaving the ninja staring in stunned confusion.

"Was that Minato? He's finally here…"

Hiruzen reacted immediately, letting out a breath of relief.

"Stop standing around! Gather the sealing team and move to support Minato!"

"Yes!"

Through the Titan's perspective, Bertholdt noticed the sudden change in surroundings and quickly understood.

Flying Thunder God—Guiding Thunder.

Teleporting the Nine-Tails away alone… that settles it. No need for me to stay here any longer. Now comes the final step of the plan—I'd better notify the main body to keep watch.

Meanwhile, the Nine-Tails, transported into the forest outside the Hidden Leaf Village, didn't seem to notice the change in environment at all. It fired a Tailed Beast Bomb point-blank, blasting it straight into the Colossal Titan's head.
