Chapter 80 - The World of Titans

In the center of the dazzling starry sky stood a giant, glowing tree that pierced the heavens and the earth. Its densely packed branches spread out toward the unknowable distance.

Beneath the starry sky lay an endless desert. A young girl in a white linen robe stood quietly in the sand with her eyes closed tight. Even though Zenith was standing right in front of her, she didn't react at all.

"Hey, hello? Can you hear me? What time is it right now?"

Zenith waved a hand in front of her face. After getting no response, he turned to Serie. "Looks like she's deaf and mute."

Obviously, this silent girl was the progenitor of the Titan power in this world, Ymir.

Attack on Titan. Naturally, the theme of this world revolved around Titans.

After a long and drawn-out war, the ancestors of the Eldians led their people to Paradis Island, isolated in the middle of the ocean, yearning for peace.

They used the power of the Titans to build three massive walls, hoping the people within could live in peace and prosperity. But as time passed, things didn't quite develop the way they had envisioned.

Serie was speechless. She sized Ymir up, then turned her head away in boredom. "A pathetic soul that has lost her own free will. She's nothing more than a tool to pass on power."

She wasn't wrong. Zenith was just about to say something else when he saw Ymir suddenly move.

Expressionless, she crouched on the ground and started piling up sand. Bones, muscles, skin—her movements were fast and practiced. The loose sand coalesced into a humanoid form in her hands, then vanished from this world, traveling along the branches of that glowing giant tree.

"That thing is the Colossal Titan, isn't it? I have a pretty good idea of what timeline we're in now. Let's go, Serie. I'll take you to experience the sights of another world."

Serie didn't argue. Although this place was brimming with magical power, it was completely devoid of life, like a dead world.

Staying here too long would drive anyone insane, unless they completely sealed away their emotions like Ymir, waiting for a specific catalyst to finally release them.

Paradis Island, Shiganshina District at the southern edge of Wall Maria. A massive bolt of golden lightning struck the earth. Around this colossal lightning strike were two smaller bolts that went completely unnoticed.

"Whoa, this big guy is seriously spectacular."

Massive amounts of red muscle exposed to the air, a towering physique nearly sixty meters tall—with every breath he took, scalding hot steam billowed around him.

Then came the heavy kick—the wall that had protected humanity for a century was kicked wide open, leaving a massive gaping hole. Even though the area behind this wall was merely an outpost town, it still housed a massive population.

Pure Titans ranging from a few meters to over a dozen meters tall began swarming through the breach. These mindless giants, fueled by the energy of sunlight, began to follow their one and only instinct: eating humans.

Screams, panic, and frantic fleeing. On that day, humanity received a grim reminder of the terror of being dominated by the Titans.

"Disgusting artificial constructs." Serie shot them a look of pure revulsion as a faint magical glow gathered in her hands. "Should I wipe them out? There are quite a few of them, so killing them all might take a little time."

Out of the corner of his eye, Zenith spotted a brown-haired, maniacally grinning Titan squeezing through the breach in the wall. Its appearance was far too iconic—one look and he knew it was the mom-eating Titan from the original story, the very one that ate the protagonist Eren's mother.

"No need. If we kill all the Titans, the plot of this world won't be able to move forward. We'll just help out where we can. There's no need to run around saving everyone like a babysitter. It's not like I'm Himmel."

He said that, but since it was happening right in front of him, Zenith wasn't just going to stand by and watch tens of thousands of people die.

Population was a crucial resource. His main world lacked nothing except people.

He planned to pull the people who died in this disaster into his main Minecraft world to enrich the human race there. After all, their mission in this world was already over.

It was a problem that could be solved with a little bit of illusion and teleportation magic, a task perfectly suited for his designated tool-woman, Serie. He had to admit, every time a situation like this arose, Zenith couldn't help but sigh in appreciation at just how incredibly useful Serie was.

"...You really don't treat me like a human being, do you? Do you have any idea how massive of a workload this is?"

Standing at a mere one and a half meters tall, Serie looked adorable even when she was puffing her cheeks in anger. Zenith couldn't resist ruffling her hair. "I'll give you two Enchanted Golden Apples later. Those are good stuff too."

Highly satisfied with her wages, the corporate slave Serie transformed into a willing beast of burden, while Zenith casually strolled through the breach and into the walls.

The place still looked like it was stuck in the Middle Ages, though the soldiers were already equipped with flintlock rifles and cannons. Paradis Island was completely isolated from the rest of the world. Outside the island, the Marleyan Empire had already finished their industrial revolution and were driving around in little jeeps, while the people here were still playing with black powder.

That was just what happened when you closed off your borders. It would take a few more years, when they finally witnessed Marley's ironclad ships and heavy artillery, for the people of Paradis Island to understand this harsh truth.

The city was a scene of utter ruin, filled with collapsed walls and shattered debris. The Titans' footsteps produced deafening rumbles against the earth, each step seemingly striking with pinpoint accuracy at the deepest fears in people's hearts.

Casually flipping through the JEI recipe menu, Zenith found himself quite interested in the idea of turning into an Ultraman. After all, what boy didn't dream of becoming light when they were a kid?

The Ultraman in the mod didn't require any true Ultra Spirit; the power mostly provided Minecraft buffs and enhancements based on the user's original stats.

But the size and appearance were the real deal. Although the post-transformation strength depended on the user's base stats, even an ordinary person turning into an Ultraman could easily crush these Pure Titans.

"I'm a bit short on time, and most of the materials require mob drops. If I just need ores... Ah, found it."

Zenith quickly locked onto an item he could craft in a short amount of time. He found a quiet corner, returned to his main world, and made a phone call to the SPW Foundation staff stationed at the mining machines.

"Look and see if there are any of those green, diamond-shaped ores... No, not Emeralds, they're a bit uglier than Emeralds. Toss a few of them down the hopper into the Ender Chest for me."

Having people back home sure was convenient. Within minutes, the mining site delivered the newly spawned M78 ores to Zenith via the Ender Chest.

An Ender Chest acted as a gateway. No matter how many Ender Chests there were, they all connected to the exact same storage space, making them perfect for long-distance item transfer.

"To think the crafting recipe for the transformation item of the great Ultraseven is actually the cheapest one. Well, cheap is fine, as long as it works."

Two Plasma Spirits crafted from M78 ores, two Gold Ingots, one Block of Redstone, two Blocks of Iron, one Emerald, and an Iron Axe—that was all it took to craft the Ultra Eye.

By the time Zenith returned to the Titan world, he happened to see a small wooden house collapse, pinning a woman underneath the rubble.

A young boy and girl were desperately trying to save their mother, but their small, frail bodies simply couldn't budge the heavy wooden beams.

These two were none other than Eren and Mikasa, the protagonists of the Titan world.

Transform into an Ultraman to save the world? Zenith felt that doing something like that once was enough. Doing it twice would get a bit boring, and by the third time, he'd lose interest completely.

Rather than doing it himself, he was much more interested in seeing what someone else would do if they were given the power of Ultraman.
