My mind raced, spinning frantically through options.
How on earth was I supposed to escape this immediate trap and still manage to treat Theresa myself?
I could simply knock the primary doctor out cold right here and do whatever I wanted with the body on the table. But what about the rest of the people crowded inside this room?
What about the nurses hovering by the tray of instruments, or the group of student doctors standing along the wall, watching every move to learn the procedure?
Eliminating or disabling them all silently without raising a massive alarm outside those doors was an impossible task.
