Chapter 483 - Chapter 18: “Super Evil Plans”

The underground corridor fell silent.

Takeru stood several meters away from Kenjaku.

He stared at him.

Then at the body he was using.

Takeru tilted his head.

"So…"

He pointed toward him.

"You managed to still get Geto's body, huh?"

Kenjaku smiled.

"Indeed."

Takeru looked him up and down.

"At least it wasn't ours."

Kenjaku raised an eyebrow.

"…Ours?"

Takeru shrugged.

"Long story."

He casually walked a little closer.

"So…"

He put his hands in his pockets.

"What are your super evil plans like in movies?"

Kenjaku stared at him.

"…What?"

"You know."

Takeru gestured dramatically.

"Do you have a giant underground lair?"

He looked around.

"…Actually, you do."

Kenjaku's smile twitched.

"Are you mocking me?"

"Not intentionally."

A pause.

"…Okay, maybe a little."

Kenjaku sighed.

"My plans are considerably more complicated than some theatrical villain's scheme."

Takeru nodded.

"Okay."

He leaned slightly forward.

"Do you have a giant button that says 'DO NOT PRESS'?"

Kenjaku stared at him.

"…No."

Takeru looked disappointed.

"That's unfortunate."

Kenjaku folded his arms.

"You're remarkably casual for someone who has infiltrated my domain."

Takeru smiled.

"I've dealt with worse."

"Such as?"

Takeru started counting on his fingers.

"Sukuna."

"Mahito."

"Multiple versions of myself."

"Two Gojos."

"Two Sukunas."

"Two Ryus."

"Two Uros."

He paused.

"…And a very angry Naoya."

Kenjaku stared.

"…You have been busy."

"Yep."

Takeru's smile faded slightly.

He looked directly at Kenjaku.

"But seriously."

His eyes sharpened.

"What exactly are you planning?"

Kenjaku's smile returned.

"That…"

A pause.

"…is something you will have to discover."

Takeru sighed.

"…I was hoping you'd just tell me."

Kenjaku laughed quietly.

"Why would I?"

Takeru shrugged.

"Because it'd save us both time."

Kenjaku shook his head.

"You truly are unusual."

Takeru smiled again.

"Thanks."

"I wasn't complimenting you."

"I'll take it anyway."

The two stood in the ancient underground chamber.

One planning something far beyond ordinary sorcery.

The other apparently treating the confrontation like a casual conversation.
