The forest was ruined.
Cratered earth.
Broken trees.
Residual cursed energy floating through the air like smoke.
And somehow—
the group was still going deeper.
"…Why are there THIS many curses," Yuji complained.
Megumi looked around carefully.
"…This area feels wrong."
Even Nanami had his hand resting near his weapon now.
"…Something stronger is nearby."
Then the forest went silent.
Completely silent.
No wind.
No movement.
Nothing.
And then—
something moved in the darkness.
A gigantic cursed spirit slowly emerged from between the trees.
Far larger than the last one.
Its body barely even looked stable—
layers of flesh and eyes folding over themselves while massive horns scraped through branches overhead.
The cursed energy pressure alone made the ground crack.
The younger students immediately froze.
"…That thing is NOT normal," Nobara whispered.
Hakari's grin faded slightly.
"…Okay. Yeah. That's huge."
Even Sukuna looked mildly interested now.
"…Hm."
Takeru stared at the curse.
Then looked toward Geto seriously.
"You get a little more than half."
Geto blinked once.
"…Why."
Takeru pointed at himself.
"Because I took a little extra melon just now."
Silence.
Geto stared at him for a second.
Then nodded solemnly.
"…Honorable."
Yuji grabbed his own head.
"WHY ARE YOU ACTING LIKE THIS IS A RESTAURANT BILL."
Too late.
The giant curse roared.
The forest exploded outward from the sound.
And Takeru and Geto vanished forward simultaneously.
BOOOOM.
The first impact shattered the ground instantly.
Geto unleashed massive cursed spirits from every direction while Takeru launched through the air with cursed energy exploding around him.
The giant curse swung downward—
only for Takeru to catch the arm mid-strike.
CRACK.
"…Big," he commented.
"Very," Geto agreed.
Then both attacked together.
Black Flash.
Cursed spirit swarms.
Explosions.
Shockwaves.
The younger students could barely even follow the fight now.
"…I can't see them anymore," Tiny Yuji muttered.
Tiny Takeru pointed upward.
"…There."
A massive golden-black impact erupted in the sky.
Then—
silence.
The giant curse split apart slowly down the middle.
The body collapsed inward violently—
compressing into one ENORMOUS orb.
The orb itself shimmered rainbow-green.
Almost sparkling.
Everyone stared.
"…No way," Takeru whispered.
Geto adjusted his posture slightly.
"…That is definitely premium."
Takeru carefully split the orb.
This time giving Geto the slightly bigger half exactly like promised.
"…Respect the melon tax."
"…Naturally."
Then—
Crunch.
Silence.
Both froze instantly.
Their eyes widened.
"…YUM," Takeru whispered.
Geto covered part of his mouth.
"…That's incredible."
Takeru pointed dramatically.
"THAT'S PREMIUM MELON SODA WITH REAL MELON CHUNKS AND VANILLA ICE CREAM."
Geto nodded immediately.
"…A float version."
The younger students looked spiritually defeated.
"…They're connoisseurs now," Megumi muttered.
Yuji pointed aggressively again.
"STOP ENJOYING CURSES."
Hakari was back on the ground laughing.
"I CAN'T TAKE THIS ANYMORE."
Even Nanami finally gave up.
"…I no longer have opinions."
Sukuna crossed his arms.
A small smirk appearing.
"…You two are monsters."
Takeru swallowed the last bite proudly.
"Correct."
And somewhere deep in the cursed forest—
while terrifying monsters continued lurking in the dark—
two sorcerers stood celebrating the discovery of Special Grade ++ dessert-flavored curse orbs.
