Chapter 305 - Chapter 6: Level Scaling

The problem with Takeru's system—

was that it worked too well.

Because now the kindergarteners were evolving.

Rapidly.

Dangerously.

Academically.

What used to be "hard questions" an hour ago—

were now considered easy.

Takeru stood at the front of the classroom with his arms crossed proudly.

Like a coach watching athletes improve.

"Alright class."

Tiny Yuji and tiny Takeru sat up instantly.

Along with every other kid.

"The base level is increasing."

The children gasped dramatically.

"NO WAY."

"DIFFICULTY SPIKE!"

Young Gojo was nearly crying laughing in the back.

"…They talk like RPG players now."

Nanami adjusted his glasses tiredly.

"…This generation is doomed."

Takeru turned the board around dramatically.

First grade level math.

As the BASICS now.

Simple multiplication.

Larger subtraction.

Basic division.

The classroom went silent.

Tiny Yuji narrowed his eyes.

"…A worthy opponent."

Tiny Takeru cracked his knuckles.

"…Bring forth the equations."

The teachers were witnessing history and psychological warfare simultaneously.

"15 minus 7!"

"8!"

"9 times 3!"

"27!"

"What is half of 20!?"

"10!"

Money kept flying.

Children kept learning.

And somehow—

they were LOVING it.

One teacher quietly wiped a tear away.

"…I've never seen children excited for division…"

Both Mei Mei's looked proud beyond words.

Older Mei Mei nodded approvingly.

"He's cultivating future business minds."

"…Or future gamblers," Megumi muttered.

Then—

the school bell rang.

Lunch time.

The entire classroom erupted instantly.

"FOOD!"

"LUNCH!"

Tiny Yuji grabbed tiny Takeru's arm dramatically.

"WE NEED NUTRIENTS FOR THE GRINDSET."

"…Correct."

The huge group headed toward the cafeteria together.

Which immediately caused every staff member there to panic internally.

Because seeing dozens of sorcerers casually walking into a kindergarten cafeteria was not a normal life event.

Gojo stepped forward proudly.

Both Gojos, actually.

"Don't worry everybody!"

Older Gojo grinned.

"Lunch is on me."

The cafeteria workers blinked.

"…For all of them?"

Young Gojo threw a thumbs up.

"Yup!"

"…Why are there two of you."

"No time."

And somehow—

they actually paid for everyone.

Every sorcerer.

Every child.

Every teacher that got caught in the chaos.

Soon—

tables were packed with food and laughter.

Tiny Yuji sat between Yuji and Choso happily shoveling food into his mouth.

Tiny Takeru sat between the two Gojos while aggressively explaining multiplication strategies.

"…AND THEN YOU JUST LOCK IN."

Young Gojo nodded seriously.

"…Amazing technique."

Older Gojo looked emotional.

"He learns so fast…"

"…It's literally you," Geto sighed.

Nearby—

Reina, Hana, Yorozu, Aika, and the others watched Takeru interact with the kids.

Watching him encourage them.

Celebrate every correct answer.

Make learning fun instead of stressful.

Reina smiled faintly.

"…He's surprisingly good with children."

Hana nodded softly.

"He understands how they think."

Yorozu crossed her arms.

Though she was smiling slightly too.

"…Annoyingly wholesome."

Tiny Yuji suddenly looked at older Yuji while eating.

"…I like learning now."

Yuji froze slightly.

Then smiled softly.

"…Yeah."

Takeru overheard that from nearby.

And for once—

he didn't joke.

He just smiled quietly too.

Because honestly?

After everything they'd been through—

seeing the younger versions of themselves happy…

felt worth more than all the money he'd thrown around today.

Then tiny Takeru stood on the cafeteria bench dramatically.

"I WILL BECOME THE GREATEST MATH SORCERER."

The cafeteria exploded into applause.

And somewhere nearby—

Nanami questioned how this became his life.
