We stood on opposite sides of the hexagonal projector device used for battling.

"Okay Let's do this." After psyching myself up I placed Goetia on the platform. As expected he used his Gundam The End. I no my gundam's name and design is kinda edgelord. But you good sir take the edgelord crown.
We loaded into the space field. I immediately deployed my twin hip mounted Dainsleif. Pushing my twin drive's thrust to the limit in the instant after firing, to compensate for the lack of ground to absorb recoil.
"What the Hell!!" He was startled I hit him
It was not a direct hit due to my lack of experience. My shots tore off those hand like things on his shoulders. Good he can't use his fangs now. unlike the Railguns from SEED which look more like a type of energy weapon than a true railgun. The Dainsleif is a true railgun firing a solid projectile at absurd velocity. Able to reach a planet form orbit in seconds. The only thing that finally put down the Devil of Tekkadan.
I then proceeded to charge him at high speed. He pulled his two revolvers like weapons. His Shot the End as he called them. God he has awful naming sense on top of being an dickish edgelord. However, he couldn't land a shot. GN Drives give almost unfair levels of maneuverability and the Twin Drive system just makes it more insane. I thought I'd have a chance to pull rampage mode, but this is sad. I just used regular Transam to close the distance and cut him in half no need to use Transam-Rampage.
Man Yuuma Kohsaka must've been hella weak. I mean andou is strong but it should not have been THAT one sided. I can see why he asked if he really learned from Sei Iori. Hm, but fighting Andou has given me some ideas. Mainly I've been too ridgid in my melee weapon. Maybe a weapon that can shift. Like how Kyrios' shield could shift into a war crime. I'll make it when we get home.
"Huh, I guess you were going easy on me. Because that was nothing honestly pathetic even." I know he has actual skill and had no intention to go easy. I also basically blitzed him before he could even fight back. I just wanted to give him a taste of hiw the others he's beaten probably felt.
He looked mad. Reasonably so. Although I didn't say it directly I just called him weak.
"Watch you back kid. I'll get revenge in the regional tournaments. Watch yourself your arrogance will be your downfall."
"Like yours just now?" I smirked at him.
He just grit his teeth and walked off. But he's right in a way regional tournaments are different. For one Damage is set to B. Which means I'll have to repair damage and scratches with in a limited time frame. Second Andou will be more serious.he didn't know what to expect with my Gunpla. He'll be more on guard against me. In fact this might be the tournament where he won and got scouted for Gunpla academy. Now I'm extra motivated.
Also the fight was enlightening. Apparently I'm a natural at this whole Gunpla piolting thing. Another thing past me was stupid for not trying. Also that energy levels are infact simulated based on the machine. It was never specified in the anime. That is something I will say is blatantly unfair for my machine. As having an ahab reactor simulated on top of the twin drive system is not fair for energy generation.
I was broken out of my thoughts by my father's voice.
"Gonta did you see that!? My sons a natural."
"That was absurd. Your Gunpla is a monster and I pretty sure you barely revealed anything it can do. After all Transam comes standard on Gunpla woth GN Drives."
"It's true I didn't but I didn't need them either."
Gonta gave an approving nod.
"Well let's go home we need to celebrate." My father was over the top excited. I don't think I've seen his stern face once, since I told him my newfound interest in Gundam.
"It's just Solo match dad. Save the celebration for after I take the regional championship."
My dad's eyes widedened at my declaration in pride. He was already planning to sign me up. I don't think he thought I'd think I could win though.
"But we should get home I have some ideas I want to implement. I realized my Melee weapons isn't unique enough. I want to make something purely my own."
My dad started crying. Clearly Tears of joy.
I sighed and dragged him home before he made anymore of a scene.
"That was quick. So how did go?" My mom was giving my father an exasperated look.
"I won. It was fast as you said. Only took less than a minute. The guy was skilled, but I was an unknown variable." It was a fact. He knew nothing and I was using parts that didn't exist yet.
My mom looked suprised at my matter of fact statement.
"Any way I'm tired. I'm gonna go take an two hour nap. Then, make the adjustment I want to the load out."
I streched and yawned as I went to my room. I fell asleep in minutes once I was in bed.
It was a good nap. I woke up with my 4th alarm. Had a weird dream. Gave me more ideas. I went to dads hobby room. I didn't have my own workspace yet. I then modeled, and coded a modified version of Jagd Arche's GN buster sword. Instead of a single blade I made it a chainsaw. I also added some beam sabers should the sword break. It was a minor adjustment but necessary one. I finished just and time for dinner. Which was karage and rice.
I spent the next day training at Gonta's hobby shop. Or at least I tried after 3 less than a minute victories. No one wanted to fight. So I instead looked up my opponent for the tournament. Andou was on the list but so was Wilfrid Kijima. He will be a challenge his Transient Gundam is no pushover. I got a notification for thw bracket. Huh I'm in the same bracket as Andou. Which means I'll probably have to fight Wilfred. I did not care about the rest they were extras nothing more. However from Andou's and Wilfred's standpoint I'm an extra and a noob.
I could only sigh and go home to make more preparations.
Authors note: I know MC seems op right now. But his only notable win is Andou. Who was caught of guard in a field where he was not able to take cover easily.
