Nick Fury's mind was calculating the massive damage and loss New York took during this battle as the Avengers were putting cuffs on Loki and were taking him away.
He was just hoping the world security council won't cut the SHIELD's budget.
"Well.. they should stay quiet for a while after this nuke incident"
A cynical smirk smirk tugged at the corner of his mouth.
On the street, the avengers were walking with Loki on cuffs, out of nowhere a bright light appeared in front of them.
The light which Thor was quite familiar with.
"The Bifrost…?" Thor grew alert. "Without any notice. You stand on Midgard unannounced. State your purpose."
Thor's grip on Mjolnir tightens, he could sense the power coursing through the man who had just arrived, his body tenses as he spins his hammer preparing for another battle.
The man smiles lightly as he walk towards them, the pressure on the Avengers intensifies.
"The Battle of New York from the first avengers movie sure brings back memories", Sol mused.
He stood before a devastated New York.
Pieces of concrete and broken buildings wherever the eyes went. Watching it with your own eyes sure feels different.
"If not for the system task, i would have completely forgotten about this event." "Let's see how strong my younger brother and the avengers currently are"
His expression turned strange. I'll knock him out first.
Boom!
The dust explodes behind him as he brushes past Thor and gives Loki a wink before knocking him out with a flick to his forehead.
Pshhk!
Loki lays motionless on the ground as Sol turns around he see a massive green ball in the sky speeding towards him.
Hulk smash!!
Boom!
The other Avengers were caight off guard before, just gaining their senses back, they were cautiously eyeing the dust cloud that had not yet settled after the clash.
Swoosh
Before the cloud of dust disperses, Hulk is sent flying, crashing through three reinforced tanks.
Captain America instinctively raises his shield, eyes on the cloud of dust where the enemies silhouette was slightly visible.
Iron Man floating a few feet above the ground, his armor still ravaged from the previous blast, "Okay… that's new." He zooms in, scanning the newcomer's aura, trying to figure out just how much of a threat they're dealing with.
"Thor… do you know that guy?" He called out. "If you know him then you better start negotiating, cuz if the energy signature readings that I'm looking at is accurate then he could obliterate the whole planet and we won't be able to do shit" Let's hope the asgardian has something up his ass that he hasn't shown us yet or else we are doomed.
"That power… it is not unknown to me but i can't seem to remember who he is." Thor muttered under his breath.
"Maybe if i fight him i might remember something." As he swung his hammer he bellowed, "Show me your power!" The enemy met him head on, the strike landed but his eyes widened as the man casually catches the hammer with one hand and before he could make sense of the scene in front of him, he was sent hurtling through the air. Dust blew past him as he flew directly towards hulk.
Thwack
Thor struggled to stand, hands on his knees.
Hulk right behind him, ready to charge again.
The other Avengers went silent as they couldn't stomach the scene in front if them.
Their two strongest fighters were being thrown away like children and being played with.
Cap regained his composure and leapt into the battle, with Hawkeye, natasha and Iron Man providing support from behind.
Ding!
"Well the system task is complete so i guess its about time for me to leave with my troublesome brothers."
The Avengers all lay motionless on the ground groaning from pain but none of them dead.
"Stop!" Nick fury shouts as his agents start surrounding Sol. "You have been surrounded by my men so you better behave and stay put" I hope he listens or else the council will nuke the whole city.
"That's cute." Sol sneered as he took in the expressions of the agents around him, flicker of doubt and apprehension clear in their eyes.
Sweat drips from nick's face as the tension rises. The dust swirled from the previous skirmish, but he didn't flinch. "Why are you here? What do you want?"
"Well I originally came here for my two idiot brothers and i will be taking them back with me but you better put those toys down or else I won't hesitate to obliterate the midgard."
The agents looked at nick fury expecting orders to put down their weapons.Pointing a gun at a god will only make them angrier.
"Midgard… so you are from Asgard?" Fury askes cautiously.
"Yes Iam the first son of Odin and the God of Sun, Sol." Sol introduced himself to the humans. "My brother has caused quite a scene here just because he was having an existential crises it seems, but the authority to punish him falls upon us and we will be the ones to decide his punishment so you guys better back off or be ready to pay the price. I'll be taking the scepter and the teseract."
Veins in nick fury's head start bulging. "Listen here you Asg— "
Sol puts his fingers on his lips making a hush sign and cuts off fury's sentence. "Just so you know this isn't a negotiation, this is just a notice to you guys out of courtesy from a god." Sol states.
"Just so you know I have destroyed more planets than you can ever imagine. It'll be of your best interest to not mess with me or any Asgardian. So tell your upper echelons to better behave or I might put up earth as my next target." He warns them. as he grabs loki and thor on his hands.
"You might want to ask your Captain Marvel about me, I'll be leaving with my brothers now, hope… you guys never see me again."
