Ahh got it—so this is your
Jay POV
Darkness.
Not the normal kind—the kind that feels alive.
"Kiefer…" I whispered.
"I'm here," he replied instantly, his grip tightening around my wrist.
Somewhere near us, Alys gasped.
"Drake—don't leave my hand."
Drake's voice came low and controlled.
"I'm not going anywhere."
A distorted laugh echoed through the corridor.
Then—
Lights ON.
But something had changed.
The corridor… wasn't the same anymore.
The walls looked older. Rusted. Almost like we weren't in the university anymore.
Zien stepped back.
"This isn't possible… we were just—"
Ace cut her off.
"We're not in the normal campus anymore."
Alys POV
My heartbeat wouldn't slow down.
"Drake… what is this?"
He didn't answer immediately.
That scared me.
Because Drake always has an answer.
Finally, he said—
"This is the real Hell University."
Gorya POV
"Stop joking," I snapped.
But no one laughed.
Thyme clenched his jaw.
"He's not joking."
Kenning grabbed Kavin's hand tightly.
"Then explain. Now."
Drake looked at all of us.
"You all heard about Bloody Night, right?"
We nodded.
"It's not just some tradition," he continued.
"It's a selection."
Alys: "Selection for what?"
Drake: "…survival."
Zien POV
A screen suddenly flickered to life on the wall.
Static.
Then words appeared—
"WELCOME, FINAL GROUP."
My stomach dropped.
Final?
Does that mean—
Others already…?
No. Don't think like that.
Kiefer POV
"This is messed up," I muttered.
Jay looked at me.
"For once, I agree with you."
I almost smirked—but I couldn't.
Because something felt off.
Like we were being watched.
Again.
Voice (Speaker System)
"Since you've returned… the rules remain the same."
Alys whispered, "Returned…?"
Drake's expression darkened.
So he knew.
Speaker continued:
"Five pairs. Five chances."
"Trust your partner… or lose them."
Silence.
Then—
"Game One begins in 10 minutes."
Alys POV
"No. No, I didn't agree to this!"
I tried to pull my hand away, but Drake held it tighter.
"Listen to me," he said, serious. "Don't panic. Stay close to me no matter what."
I stared at him.
"Drake… you knew about this, didn't you?"
He didn't deny it.
That hurt more than anything.
Jay POV
I stepped forward.
"What happened three years ago?" I asked.
Everyone went quiet.
Drake closed his eyes for a second.
Then—
"We were here before."
A chill ran down my spine.
"Me, Kiefer, Percy, Matt… and others."
Kiefer stiffened.
"Don't—"
Drake ignored him.
"We played this game."
Gorya: "And?"
Drake looked straight at us.
"…not everyone made it out."
Final Scene
A loud siren rang.
The floor beneath us vibrated.
Doors appeared out of nowhere along the corridor walls.
Each door had a name.
Jay noticed hers.
"JAY & KIEFER"
Alys turned—
"ALYS & DRAKE"
One by one… all pairs were assigned.
The speaker returned:
"Enter your designated door."
"You have one rule—"
"Only two people can come out."
Alys felt her breath stop.
Jay clenched her fists.
Zien whispered, "This is insane…"
Drake leaned closer to Alys.
"Now you understand," he said quietly.
"This isn't a university."
"It's a test of who you're willing to lose."
