After a few days the Dragon Kingdom and the rest of the kingdoms watching have no real idea what had happened that destroyed the 100,000 army strong of Beastmen.
Most assumed that a meteor strike leveled the area and thought nothing about it, thinking that the gods must have intervened.
But for Queen Draudillon Oriculus she had different thoughts on the matter as she arrived at the crater itself with her own personal entourage of knights along with her Adviser and Prime Minister of her country.
"This wasn't a natural disaster." Ori, (I'm calling her that because her name is a mouthful), said as she could feel it in the air.
While her control of Wild Magic was very weak compared to her great Grandfather, Brightness Dragon Lord, she could still sense Magic especially Tiered Magic as the mana still flowed in the air from the crater itself.
"So someone has come to our aid your majesty?" Her advisor asked to which she nodded in response.
"Maybe, that or they just really hate Beastmen, but then again who doesn't hate these savages who want nothing more than to plunder, kill and eat humanity." She says in response.
"Come, let us return to the capital and discuss what shall we do next in this never ending war." She said before getting back into the carriage with her advisor to return towards the capital.
And half a day later they had returned to the capital as Ori sat on her throne and contemplated on what to do next.
Her country had gained a brief reprieve from the war it was inevitable that the Beastmen would Regroup and come back but the loss of a force of a 100 thousand strong will take weeks or even a few months for them to recover.
Especially their rabbit man grunts that are the front line fighters, funny how it is even rabbitmen could devour humans like all the rest even though normal rabbits can't eat meat at all.
They are designated as the grunts along with the insectoids for one reason alone, they have massive population booms, more than half of that army was made of insects and rabbitmen so while the loss seems devastating they can recoup those losses rather quickly through breeding.
"Haaaa…. What are we to do about this?" Ori said as she leaned back in her throne as she looked up towards the ceiling lost in thought.
"Your majesty, I think it's prudent we find whoever launched that attack as they have done a great aid for not only us, but the human world as a whole." After all the Dragon Kingdom is stuck right on the frontlines against the Beastmen Country.
"Why wait? When you can find me now?" Suddenly a third voice appeared within the throne room shocking both the queen and prime minister.
The shadows within the room began to crawl before converging together on a singular point in the room before moving up as a cloaked figure stood before them.
"No need to be nervous, while my entrance may have been dramatic I mean no harm to either of you as I have come in peace." I say before pulling off my hood revealing myself to them.
"Allow me to introduce myself, I am Orion, Orion Ooal Gown, and I am the one you have been looking for as I am the one who decimated that invading army of Beastmen for you." I said to her but both she and her minister were on guard.
"And why would it be that a monster wearing the skin of a Dark Elf come and help my kingdom." She asks me.
I grab my chest, "Ah, your words wound me and my could dead heart, monster is such a nasty term for what I am, I would be called one of the Heteromorphic races than that, and as to why I look like a Dark Elf? Who's to say I wasn't a Dark Elf in my life prior to what I have become? But I digress as I doubt you have anything truly against me even though I have helped protect your kingdom out of the kindness of my own heart." I say to her but the look she was giving me said she didn't believe me.
"No I don't have anything against you, and from the sheer power radiating off of your body as well as it matching the remnants of the magic cast there I am grateful for what you did, but the question is what do you want?" She said as she was at a disadvantage in this situation.
While she was part dragon herself and had wild magic if she wanted to try and harm me she would have to sacrifice her whole country as Wild Magic's prices isn't Mana but real Souls are used to make it work, and even then she doesn't believe an attack like that could kill me even if she wanted to, the price isn't worth it.
"What I want is very simple, a transactional deal that could set your entire country on track so to say and bring you out of the financial ruin you fine yourself in." I tell her activating my merchant like persona.
"I am part of a group of highly intelligent and extremely powerful heteromorphs that will be making our presence known in the near future to the west, I ask in exchange for destroying the Beastmen Country when that group of mine has finally formed a kingdom the Dragon Kingdom is willing to enter a Defensive Alliance with us as a result."
"Not only that I shall return all your lost city's to you before destroying the Beastmen Country entirely, but I am allowed to keep their territory for myself along with the Silent City as well." I say to her laying out my plans very clearly to her.
She paused for a minute and weighed the options, Unliike the Slane Theocracy or the Holy Roble Kingdom she has less hatred towards the monsters, specifically the kinds that can think for themselves that is unlike the mindless monsters hell bent on destroying everything.
As for the Silent City, that land is considered a no man's land where nothing grows and the dead roam about, it was once there's but after the Cataclysm that befell that city nobody desires it.
She looked to her prime minister who didn't say anything, letting her make the choice alone as she turned back to look towards me.
"Alright Orion, you have a deal, you help us with pushing back the Beastmen and returning our homes then the Silent city and all of their land is yours to keep." She said to me accepting my deal.
"Good, in a weeks time the Beastman Country will be no more." I said with a grin before the shadows began to swirl beneath me as I began to sink in.
"Until then…" I said before fully sinking and disappearing from sight.
The deal was made now it was time to take out the Beastmen myself.
