Chapter 1 - Chapter 1 Hard Rank Mission Initiation

"Where am I?" Yuichiro woke up dazed, his head throbbing as he tried to remember what happened. "I'm sure I was hit by a truck while crossing the street to the store. How am i still alive"

Suddenly, a wave of memories hit him. "No way... I've been reincarnated into Naruto?"

(Warning: Failure to capture the hearts of three targets will result in soul eradication at the end of this world's timeline)

A window appeared in front of Yuichiro. He jumped at first, startled by the sudden intrusion, but quickly calmed down when he realized what it was: a System.

'So, I have a system. Heh. To be honest, I was terrified of how powerful the future enemies would be, but with a "cheat" like this, everything just got a lot easier. But... a "Pure Love System"? What on earth is that? System, I'm pretty sure Naruto is a shonen anime, not an eroge! I'm just a thirty-year-old virgin how am I supposed to win over these kunoichi? I've been alone for three decades!'"

[Host, if you wish to accept this system, do so now. If not, this system will automatically delete itself. Do you accept or not?]

"I accept! I accept, System. Don't be so serious."

[Which heroine do you choose? The harder the target is to win over, the greater the rewards.]

Yuichiro weighed his options. Hinata's heart already belonged to Naruto, and Tsunade was still away from the village. Yugao Uzuki, being ANBU, was far too elusive, while Karin was out of reach in Kusagakure. The other candidates resided in the Hidden Cloud-a village still cold toward Konoha following the Hyuga affair.

That left the local girls. Ino Yamanaka was obsessed with Sasuke, Sakura Haruno presented a more strategic opportunity. Despite her infatuation with the Uchiha Sasuke and her occasionally grating personality, Yuichiro realized the potential rewards for winning her over were far greater. Most importantly, they would be teammates, giving him the proximity he needed. Even if he failed, he could simply move on to the next target. As long as he didn't fail three times, the system wouldn't punish him. His mind was made up; Sakura was the first target.

"System, I choose Sakura Haruno."

[Target chosen: Sakura Haruno]

(Time-limit 1 year)

[Atention, Host: If you choose to seal your memories of your past life and the anime plot to make this a 'Hard Rank' mission, you will regain your memories at the end of Naruto Shippuden plot and be allowed to return to the real world with all your system rewards.]

"What?" Yuichiro wanted to curse at the system, but the last part made him go silent. He started thinking. If I choose this, I can go home. I can see my parents and my little sister again. Ichika-chan. He thought of his 10-year-old sister, who would be left lonely and sad without him. Hoping the plot would mirror the original, he took a deep breath and made his choice.

"System, I choose to give up my memories."

[Good choice, Host. Knowing the future would make things too boring, wouldn't it?]

[Once your memories are sealed, you will possess only Naruto's memories, retaining only the knowledge of the System and your status as a reincarnated soul.]

[Warning: Your soul now possesses the protagonist. Even without your memories, there is a 90% chance you will act differently than the original Naruto Uzumaki. Do you still want this?]

Yuichiro's face was full of determination. Knowing he had a chance to go back home, he wasn't going to let it slip away. "Yes. I choose this."

[Understood. System beginning memory seal in 10 seconds: 1... 2... 3... 4... 5...]

After a few moments Yuichiro felt a sharp pain in his head and blacked out.

____________

A few minutes later, Naruto's eyes snapped open. The familiar, naive innocence of the previous Naruto was gone from his gaze. He took a deep breath, processing the strange data flooding his mind- the reality of the System and the fact that he was now Naruto, yet someone entirely different at the same time.

As it sank in that this System could help him become Hokage, his anxiety vanished. Curiously, he no longer felt that desperate, hollow ache for the villagers' approval. His goal hadn't changed, though; being Hokage had been his only anchor since he was three years old. To abandon that ambition now would be to become a ghost in a world that had already shown him nothing but darkness.

"System, show me my status!"

[Affirmative, Host.]

[User: Naruto Uzumaki (Reincarnated Soul: Yuichiro Akiko)]

-Intelligence: 30 (normal 15)

-Charm: 8

[Rank: Beginner Genin]

[Mastered Jutsus:]

* Henge no Jutsu (Transformation Jutsu)

* Oiroke no Jutsu (Sexy Jutsu)

"So the soul that replaced mine is named Yuichiro Akiko... System, can you tell me why I don't have any of Yuichiro's memories?"

[I am sorry, Host, but that information is restricted. You will understand in the future. For now, you must focus all your efforts on winning over Sakura Haruno. The faster you complete your missions, the stronger you will become, and eventually, everything will be revealed.]

Naruto sighed. "System, Sakura likes Sasuke. In the past, I always annoyed her just to get her attention, and she scolded me for it. I used to have hope that we'd end up together someday, but now... it feels like that'll never happen." Naruto recalled his past behavior and felt his face flush with embarrassment.

[Host, the harder she is to win over, the greater your rewards will be. Do not worry. Give it your all. Pure Love will prevail in the end.]

"Pure Love, my foot," Naruto muttered.

He realized he didn't feel anything for Sakura anymore. He figured it was because of Yuichiro's soul taking over. He sighed and started thinking about the Genin graduation exam tomorrow. The test was on the Clone Jutsu—the technique he could never get right. He started to stress out, but then a thought struck him: Wait, I have a system now. Why am I still worrying about this?

"System, the graduation exam is tomorrow and it's for the Clone Jutsu. I've always failed at this one. Can you help me?"

[Mission generating....]

[Mission: confess your feelings to Sakura Haruno in front of the whole class.]

[Rewards:

☆Mastery of the Clone Jutsu

☆Charm +10]

[Good luck host ദ്ദി(>⩊<)✧]

"Naruto's face flushed deep red. 'System, are you trying to end my social life?'"

[Host, don't worry and give it your all, I'm rooting for you, ehee!]

"Naruto sighed and finally decided to accept the mission. 'Yes, to become Hokage, I'm going to give it my all!' Naruto encouraged himself. After a moment of agonizing over how to confess without dying of shame the next morning, his bravado hit a wall. The stress was replaced by a sudden wave of sleepiness, and he let out a massive yawn.

"It's late; I'll think about it tomorrow. I just hope everything turns out okay. Since I've been given a chance to become powerful, I'll give it everything I've got. Even if this system is a total pervert and is going to cause me trouble later, I just have to close my eyes and push forward."

[Host, I've heard that... I'm not being a pervert, I'm just spreading pure love! Hmph!]

With the graduation exam arriving tomorrow morning, Naruto decided to call it a night.

.....

The next morning, Naruto woke up and went through his usual routine: a quick shower, brushing his teeth, and prepping a cup of instant ramen. After finishing his breakfast, he reached for a bottle of milk, but as soon as he checked the expiration date, he let out a frustrated sigh. "Those annoying villagers," he muttered, "always selling me expired stuff." He tossed the bottle into the trash.

When it came time to change out of his casual clothes, he reached for his signature orange jumpsuit. He paused, looking at his closet it was filled with ten identical orange outfits. "Why did I ever like wearing these?" he wondered, his brow furrowing. "This color is way too loud."

Deciding it was time for a change, he realized he still had an hour before the graduation exam. He headed out, determined to find some new clothes that didn't scream for attention.

"To be more efficient on future missions the system gave me, I have to change." Naruto muttered, surprised by his own sudden clarity. Usually, his mind was a fog of loud impulses, but now, he was noticing details he'd always ignored. It's definitely Yuichiro's influence, he realized.

Reaching the clothing shop, Naruto ducked into a nearby alley. A few moments later, a nondescript boy with a face that wouldn't stand out in a crowd stepped out. It was Naruto, using the Transformation Jutsu. He was stunned by the quality of the disguise; in the past, his transformations were riddled with flaws, barely passable unless he was using his Sexy Jutsu. Again, he felt that silent nod of thanks toward the soul of Yuichiro.

He entered the shop, gave the clerk a polite nod, and began browsing. Ten minutes later, he made his choice: Stylish Hooded Cloak Cardigan, dark tactical trousers, and a fresh pair of shinobi sandals. He changed in the back and caught his reflection. "Now this is much better," he whispered, the dark fabric making his blonde hair and blue eyes pop with a new intensity.

However, when he reached the counter, his face twitched.

"That will be 12,000 Ryō," the shopkeeper chirped.

Naruto's hand trembled as he clutched his frog wallet. He slowly counted out the bills, feeling his heart sink. "There go all my savings," he groaned internally. "I'm going to have to catch fish in the river for a whole month just to eat."

"Thank you, young man! Come back soon my prices are the lowest in the village, ehe!" the clerk said with a predatory grin.

Naruto's expression soured as he stepped out into the street. "Lowest prices, my foot," he grumbled, adjusting his new hood.

Despite the empty wallet, he felt a surge of confidence. He didn't look like the "class clown" anymore.

After five minutes of walking, Naruto finally reached the Academy. Despite his rush, he was surprised to find he was actually late. He knocked on the door, and Iruka's muffled voice came from inside.

"Enter!"

Naruto pushed the door open. With the hood pulled low over his head, his face was cast in shadow, hiding his features. Iruka and the rest of the students looked at him with curious, guarded expressions.

"Hey, kid," Iruka asked, squinting. "Who are you? Do you need something?"

Naruto reached up and pulled back his hood, a familiar grin breaking across his face. "Iruka-sensei! Sorry I'm late. I was busy helping an old lady cross the street, ya know? Ehehe!"

Iruka stared, momentarily taken aback by the sharp, dark change in Naruto's attire. But the ridiculous excuse snapped him back to reality. "Naruto! Even on graduation day, you have the nerve to be late?! Get to your seat, now!"

"Hehe, my bad, Iruka-sensei!" Naruto sheepishly rubbed the back of his head and headed toward the desks.

When Hinata saw Naruto pull back his hood, revealing his face, her own face turned as bright red as a tomato. Steam practically puffed from her head as she stammered, "Na-na-na-Naruto-kun..."

Ino, who had been leaning over trying to hog Sasuke's attention, turned her gaze toward Naruto. She blinked, genuinely surprised. Since when does Naruto look so... handsome? she wondered, noting how well the black robe fit him. She glanced over at Sakura, expecting a snarky comment, but Sakura was acting strange. She hadn't even looked at Sasuke this morning.

Sakura sat in her seat, her face flushed a deep crimson, staring intently at Naruto. Something was clearly wrong with her.

"Oi, Forehead!" Ino teased. "What's with that look? Don't tell me you finally fell for Naruto, huh?"

Sakura didn't even hear her. Her eyes were locked on him. "Naruto..." she whispered, a single tear tracing a path down her cheek.

Sasuke, seemingly focused on Iruka, tracked Naruto out of the corner of his eye. Nearby, Shikamaru and Choji watched Naruto sit down, both looking skeptical.

"Naruto," Shikamaru sighed, leaning back. "What's with the get-up today? Such a drag."

Naruto looked at him calmly. "Shikamaru, you're the smartest guy in this room. You know exactly how loud and idiotic I looked in that orange jumpsuit. It was time for a change."

Shikamaru's jaw dropped slightly. How did he realize that? Normally, Naruto was too dense to care about aesthetics or tactical advantages. "Who are you and what did you do with the real Naruto?" he muttered.

Choji, busy munching on a bag of chips, interrupted with a crunch. "He just changed his clothes, Shikamaru. What's the big deal? It's not like he changed his stomach."

Iruka-sensei stood at the front "Alright, settle down! We will begin the Clone Jutsu test. One by one, come to the testing room when called."
