No sooner had Rias and the others returned from their sightseeing trip around the castle than everyone set off again, this time by train toward the Demon King's territory.
The two Familias were placed in different locomotives. During the trip, the train passed through several large magic circles suspended above the tracks. The glowing arrays were used for long-distance travel, allowing the train to cross huge parts of the Underworld much faster.
Xenovia looked away from the window and turned to Adrien.
"Rias seems more accepting of the engagement now."
Adrien rested his chin against his hand as he stared out at the passing scenery. "Is that so… I thought she'd throw more of a tantrum. Guess she already gave up."
Saeko looked at him with a faint smile. "You do not seem very angry about it either."
"I kind of guessed I'd be forced into an engagement sooner or later," Adrien said. "That's how noble families work. At least Rias is better than some other spoiled noble little shits."
"But if you marry her we won't be able to sleep in your room again right?" Mary asked, all she really cared about was Adrien's dick, as long as she could keep sleeping with him she didn't mind sharing him.
"Nah, I'll keep sleeping with whomever I want, they forced me into it even though they knew I was making a Harem for myself."
Xenovia looked at him with a serious expression. "So we are automatically part of your harem?"
Adrien glanced at her. "That depends on you."
She thought about it for a moment, then nodded. "I see. I am not angry. To be honest, I do not mind sharing you either."
"You're agreeing to it too rapidly," Mahiru hid her face that had turned red.
"It's the same for all of us I guess," Mary said flatly, "oh I guess you haven't slept with him yet, when you do you'll feel the same. I haven't slept with anyone else but I seriously doubt I'd find someone who would satisfy me as he does."
"L-let's change the conversation," Mahiru said, quickly looking away from everyone.
Her face was red, and she clearly wanted the topic to disappear as fast as possible. Adrien smiled faintly and reached over, patting her head. "Yeah, stop teasing Mahiru."
Mahiru froze for a second, then lowered her head even more.
Celia clicked her tongue. "You're the worst one here, Andy."
After nearly three hours, they arrived at a modern-looking metropolis.
"This is Lucifard," Adrien explained as everyone looked out at the city. "It's the Demon King's territory and the old capital of the Underworld. The original Lucifer is said to have lived here."
"We'll need to switch to the subway line. If we go to the venue out in the open, we'll draw too much attention."
"Kyaaaaa! Princess Riaaaaas!"
High-pitched cries suddenly echoed across the platform. A group of young devils had already noticed Rias in the locomotive in front of them and were waving excitedly.
Adrien pointed toward them. "That's what I meant. If even one person recognizes me, it'll become a drag."
Adrien reached into his dimensional storage. A black blindfold appeared in his hand, and he tied it over his eyes.
Mahiru blinked. "Why are you putting on a blindfold?"
Adrien adjusted it calmly. "Disguise."
"You just want to look like Gojo," Celia pointed out.
"That's the other reason."
Adrien then turned his head toward Saeko. "Give me your sword."
Saeko blinked. "Hm? Why?"
"What kind of blind man walks around without a stick? Hurry up."
Saeko let out a small amused breath and handed him her sheathed sword.
A moment later, they stepped out of the locomotive. Adrien walked slowly, tapping the sheathed sword against the ground in front of him like a cane, while Mahiru held onto his arm as if she were guiding him.
When Rias's peerage came out of the locomotive in front of them and saw the scene, they immediately burst into laughter.
In the end, the disguise worked perfectly. Adrien and his peerage managed to switch subway lines without anyone recognizing him.
Both Familias entered the same train, and the two groups gathered together again. Adrien took off the blindfold and put it back into his dimensional storage.
Akeno immediately came over and sat beside him.
"Ara~ should I help you walk, dear?" she asked with a playful smile.
"Nah. I suddenly got my vision back. What a miracle!"
Akeno chuckled and leaned even closer against him. "You know," she whispered teasingly, "coming after you right now feels like I'm stealing from my master. That makes it even hotter."
"You have some weird kinks girl."
"Do you blame me?" She hopped on his lap facing him directly. She put her hand on his cheek, "I really feel like getting a mouthful of you right now."
"What's stopping you?"
"Can you two flirt in private? Jeez," Celia said with a pout, looking away. "It's been a while since I sat on his lap."
At her words, everyone's eyes immediately turned toward them. But before anyone could say anything, the train came to a stop, a moment later, the doors opened, signaling for them to get off.
"Listen, everyone," Rias said, turning to her peerage with a serious expression. "No matter what happens, don't lose your composure. You cannot get into a fight, regardless of what anyone says to you. These people are our future rivals. We must not do anything that could damage our reputation."
Issei straightened a little. "R-right. Got it, Prez."
Kiba nodded calmly. "Understood."
Adrien, on the other hand, said nothing to his own Familia. He simply stepped out of the train first, hands in his pockets.
Rias glanced in his direction. For a second, her eyes stayed fixed on his back. Then she quickly looked away and returned her attention to her own Familia.
Their destination was the largest building in the city. It served as the venue for the formal gala, where coming-of-age devils from High-Class and influential families gathered.
Adrien was only supposed to attend as a spectator, since he would not become eligible for the Rating Games until the following year.
He and his peerage waited outside for Rias to finish her pep talk then they followed them. They rode the elevator up for a good while, but it eventually came to a stop.
They rode the elevator up for a while before it finally came to a stop. When the doors opened, they stepped into a large hall. A servant immediately approached and bowed politely.
"Welcome, Lady Gremory. Please, this way."
The attendant led them down a long corridor. Several people stood around the edges of the hall, talking quietly among themselves. Then Rias suddenly stopped.
"Sairaorg!"
A tall young man approached them. He had black hair, violet eyes, and a strong, muscular build. Despite his mature presence, he looked around the same age as them.
"It's been a long time, Rias," he said with a grin, holding out his hand.
Rias smiled and shook it. "It has. I've missed you, Sairaorg. I'm glad to see you haven't changed."
Her expression softened with familiarity before she turned to her peerage.
"Everyone, this is Sairaorg. He is my cousin from my mother's side."
While Rias was introducing him to her peerage, Adrien was being guided away by another servant.
"Lord Adrien, the spectator seats are this way," the servant said politely.
"Sairaorg Bael, heir to the House of Bael."
Sairaorg Bael was the heir of the princely House of Bael. He was the eldest son of Lord Bael and the only child of his first wife, Misla Bael. Just from his presence, it was easy to tell he was not an ordinary young devil. He carried himself with confidence, but there was nothing arrogant about the way he smiled at Rias.
"What are you doing lurking out here in the corridors?" Rias asked.
"Ah," Sairaorg said, scratching the back of his head. "I couldn't stand being in there anymore. I had to step outside."
Rias raised an eyebrow. "You couldn't stand it? Have the others arrived already?"
"Agares and Astaroth have," Sairaorg answered. "Then Zephyrdor got here and decided to pick an argument with Agares."
Adrien, who still had not left the hall, heard Sairaorg's words clearly. He stopped in his tracks, and turned to the group.
"What did you just say?"
