Walking down the aisle, Lily could hear her heart beats more loudly than her footsteps. What she was signing up for?,that she didn't know,what she know is that this marriage is gonna be the worst nightmare of her entire life.

Smith Wellington,the number one playboy in the whole of Georgia,or so she heard.She sighed,not a sigh of relief,nor a sigh of sadness,but a sigh of 'well it has always been them taking decisions for me.Them?,yeah her parents.Left to her, she would never get married to someone whom she has never set her eyes on

Standing opposite her soon to be husband,she didn't smile, neither did he.He was only looking deep into her eyes as if searching for answers to an unknown question, though she found it attractive,she quickly looked away
Well he's a multi millionaire, let's say I'm getting married for wealth?,she giggled,who exactly was she deceiving?,this so called multi millionaire is a play boy,a bad ass one at that

But they were interrupted by the priest telling them to repeat the marriage vows after him

Looking at the audience,her face turned pale,it was just her family and that of smith.Her family by the left and smiths' family by the right.This was never the kind of wedding ceremony she had always wished for

"Miss Lily..."the voice of the priest jolted her from her thought
She faced him
"Please say the vows after me"
"What about him?"Lily asked pointing towards max
"What about me?"Smith asked looking confused
"Yeah ,what about you?the vows? aren't you saying them?"
Smith looked at her with a puzzled face but before anyone could say anything , Lily's mother, Mrs max stood up
"Lily can you be serious for just once in your life?this is not some kind of joke, let's just get over with this already"

Lily faced the priest and nodded her head.What was she expecting from a mother that values money more than her own child?
She slowly said the vows after the priest

After saying the vows and everything was don properly, they were pronounced husband and wife
She saw the smiles on her parents faces beaming like people who just won a multi million contract.Yeah,of course they did win it, just that she was used as the bait.She looked together sister Jessie,Jessie smirked and looked away
"I thought there would be a kissing part, why was that excluded?"Smith cousin, Jasmine said coming towards the newly wedded couple
"I guess they were shy"Smith's mum said and laughed

Lily lost her words,words??,safe really don't have anything to say,she wouldn't bkame him,he was doing something out of his own wish.Why he even agreed to get married to her when he can just choose any girl amongst his flings is what she don't understand.She looked at her parents and they looked away as well,she rolled her eyes,what was she expecting?
Lily and Smith walked towards the car that was awaiting them
"Please take good care of her"Mrs Wellington said
"I'm not making any promises"Smith replied
"Such a spoilt brat"Mrs Wellington said shaking her head
"Sweetheart"Mrs Wellington said hugging lily and kissed her both cheek "He's the stubborn type, please don't take whatever rascal stuff he does to heart okay?I wish you all the best"She continued smiling sweetly at her

"Awwn such a sweet girl, I'm sure you will make a good daughter in law"Mrs Wellington said rubbing Lily's cheek softly
Jessie scoffed
Lily gave her that look that says 'why jealous already? Jessie rolled her eyes, Lily smirked
Jessie didn't like her anyways,so lily cared less
"And of course, I'm your big sis "Jasmine said and hugged lily"Also don't hesitate to call me if u nedd anything, especially if it's about this brat"She said looking at Smith and eyeing him "I sure know how to handle him"she continued
"yeah right,older but not married"Smith said in a mocking tone. Lily faked a cough
"Smith"Jasmine called giving him a scornful look "Mind yourself".

"Don't mind him, he's such a pain in the ass"Jasmine said to Lily "Don't be scared of him okay?" She continued smiling sweetly at lily while holding her hands
Lily smiled, this warmth?, something she had never felt in her own family 'well you have a new one now 'she thought to herself

"Alright that's enough now,we shouldn't hold the couple any longer"Lily's dad said
