The Akatsuki gakuen school bell rang as the day had finally came to an end, a boy walked out of the school right when the bell had rang, the boy had red hair and red eyes, he dashed out of the school with amazing speed, but why?
"oh man! Huff huff, if they had caught me huff, I'd be dead for sure"
"maybe if you ran faster you could have gotten further" three boys came from behind him, a big muscular boy, a thin boy who seems to be on drugs, and their leader who is said to be the best when it comes to hand to hand combat
"now then axel, come here and explain to me why you were running away" said the gang boss
"I wasn't running away! I swear, my mother is actually sick at home and I have to take care of her" said axel while he was looking down and shaking knowing that he'll be beaten up
"big Bob, give him the beating of his life" said the gang boss as the big muscular guy walked up to axel and picked him up by the neck with one hand, axel started to loss his breath, big Bob then made a fist with the other hand as he punched axel in the stomach so hard that he coughed out blood, then big Bob dropped him to the ground before using his big foot to step on axels face
Tears fell from axels eyes as the boss stood there laughing and enjoying as they tortured axel. "why must it be me?" said axel while he was crying
After 10 minutes of getting beaten up they finally left, other school children started to pass by as they saw him laying down on the side walk with blood all over, they laughed and passed by, a girl with white hair and white eyes passed by as she stopped and looked at him, he looked up as their eyes meet.
"Lyra? Is that you?" said axel while he was laying on the ground
"are you okay?" said Lyra as she set down next to him and took out her handkerchief and used it to whip the blood of his face
Lyra was the schools beauty and had the best grades in the school, she was also axels friend at the time, even though she had an emotionless expression, her actions could show that she cared about others
"let he help you get home safe" said Lyra as she helped axel get up, she then took axels hand and wrapped it around her own hip so she can balance him
"thank you" said axel as his face turned red
"don't get the wrong idea you idiot" said Lyra as they both walked side by side until reaching axels home, Lyra then opened the door and helped axel enter, upon entry they found a lot of alcohol bottles on the ground, as they turned their heads they saw axels father on the sofa asleep.
"wheres your mother?" Lyra asked, axel looked down as his facial expression changed.
"she's in the hospital" said axel
"let's go to your room and you'll tell everything there" said Lyra as she helped him up the stairs into his room and placed him on his bed, she then exited the room and went to the kitchen to get some ice cubes and went into the bathroom to get a wet towel
"here you go" said Lyra as she handed axel the items she had collected for him
"now tell me what's going on with you" said Lyra as she looked axel in the eyes
"A few weeks ago my father and mother got into a fight, my father beat up my mother to the extent that she had to go to the hospital, my mother is in a coma right now and theres no knowing if she'll wake up or not, ever since she went into the hospital I had to take care of myself because my father isn't actually my biological father, he doesn't care about me he just thinks about himself and only himself, so in order to survive I had to make a plan, I took a loan from Ryan's group." said axel
" so that's why there were beating you up, because you couldn't pay them back" said lyra
"yeah, I guess this torture will continue on until my mother wakes up, whenever that'll be" said axel as he looked down and started crying
"I'm sorry to hear that axel, listen, I'll do whatever I can to help you, Oky? Stop crying, be strong" said Lyra as she pats his head
"once again, thank you" said axel as he whipped away his tears
"let me go home and change my clothes and prepare dinner for you, I'll be back within an hour or two" said Lyra as she stood up and exited the room and the house and heads home
Left alone as axel lays down on the bed, a light appears from his wardrobe as he looks at the wardrobe, he then sits up straight as he then stands up and leaps towards the wardrobe, he would then reach his hand out towards the handle of the wardrobe as the light inside turned green and became brighter, then the wardrobe would open on its own releasing a huge wave of energy that was so powerful it blew axel away sending him crashing to the walls, the energy was so powerful it shook the house and left cracks on the top of the house near the ceiling, with his eyes closed axel then opens them half way as he saw a little green being wearing gold armor and a gold crown, he then opens his eyes completely as he notices that the being is actually a goblin.
The goblin was sitting down staring at axel with its bright red glowing eyes, as the goblin then gave axel a sinister smile.
