"Why are you sitting next to me?" clutching a bucket of sweet-smelling popcorn, Leticia asked through gritted teeth.
Beside her, the White-haired girl sat quietly in her seat, waiting for the movie to start.
Hearing Leticia's question, she looked up. "Intuition."
"Huh?"
"I know your habits; you would never choose a seat close to other people. This cinema is closest to our meeting point, and this movie doesn't have many morning screenings, so I could easily guess which one you would choose to watch."
"The rest was simple. Only one seat in this row was reserved, so I bought the ticket for that seat." Melanie indicated it was simple; she wasn't a little fool.
Furthermore, even if she had guessed wrong, she had plenty of ways to get herself to sit next to Leticia.
"Tch, miscalculated." Melanie's flawless deduction forced Leticia to swallow her frustration, as the movie had been out for quite a while, resulting in few people at this screening.
She had just casually picked a seat she liked, and as it turned out, Melanie had guessed it exactly.
"It's not great to eat popcorn while wearing this outfit," Melanie reminded her out of kindness.
Leticia glared at Melanie. Did she think she didn't know that?
"Are you looking down on the Demon King?" Leticia indicated there was absolutely no problem, tapping lightly on the popcorn bucket. A golden piece of popcorn automatically flew into Leticia's open mouth.
Magic is just that useful.
"Aren't you afraid of being seen by others?" Regarding Leticia's behavior of daring to use magic in public, Melanie thought she was truly a bit bold.
"What's there to fear? With the current lighting, the surveillance cameras can't see what I'm doing at all, and I haven't displayed any magical characteristics," Leticia said nonchalantly. This type of telekinetic magic and telekinetic superpowers looked exactly the same in practice; ordinary people couldn't tell them apart.
Coupled with the already dimmed lights, she really didn't think there was any risk of her being exposed.
A logo that Leticia was quite familiar with had already appeared on the big screen, followed by a bunch of logos flashing by quickly. About a minute later, the movie officially began.
The opening of the movie was a huge castle shrouded in black mist. Following the stairs guarded by soldiers covered from head to toe in black armor, the camera entered this building that looked very important at first glance.
"I've discovered that you humans don't understand us Demon Race very well," Leticia muttered softly. "Don't tell me this is the Demon Kings Palace; my home is not that gloomy."
Melanie didn't respond; she was intently watching the characters appearing on the big screen.
An extremely seductive woman in black was sitting on a blood-red throne in an extremely indecent posture. She was wearing a slightly revealing black dress, her expression three parts disdainful and seven parts arrogant.
Beneath the throne knelt three trembling big men; they were the villains from the previous movie, the Demon Race's Four Heavenly Kings.
As for why there were only three?
One had defected to the protagonist's side in the previous movie.
That one was the visual centerpiece of the Four Heavenly Kings, the only pretty girl who looked quite good.
"Sephora has betrayed us, hasn't she?" the woman asked nonchalantly.
"Yes, Your Majesty, Sephora has betrayed us. If not for her betrayal, we would have already killed the Sword Saint," answered the older of the three men.
"The Four Heavenly Kings couldn't beat me even if they attacked together," this time it was Melanie's turn to mutter. "Is that the Demon King?"
Leticia chuckled, "The Demon King is right next to you. Apart from black hair and black eyes, there are no similarities between me and this fake."
"Indeed, but she looks more like a Demon King."
"Bullshit, can she be called a Demon King? Even if I brought over the most seductive succubus from my side, she wouldn't be as seductive as her!" Leticia's reaction was quite intense. "Look at this outfit, dressing so shamelessly in front of three men; if I didn't know better, I'd think these three were her lovers."
"Then what did you use to dress like?" Melanie asked with some curiosity.
Leticia rolled her eyes at Melanie. "Didn't you see clearly when you were fighting me?"
"No, in such an intense battle, I didn't have the energy to pay attention to other things," Melanie shook her head.
Her answer made Leticia laugh. Intense? Wasn't she just being rubbed into the ground by this person?
An excuse, an absolute excuse.
"Then you really are humble; I don't have such powerful strength as you," Leticia said with sarcasm. "As for what I looked like before, you might be able to ask those high nobles of the Demon Race, or the Four Heavenly Kings."
The number of demons who could meet Leticia was no more than the number of fingers on two hands, and those who could see Leticia's Demon King form were even fewer.
"I want to see."
"No, you don't." Leticia flatly rejected Melanie's request. "Not to mention that my clothes are still sealed in the storage room of the Demon Kings Palace, just those clothes themselves—I didn't want to wear them a second time after wearing them once."
The reason is simple; the feeling of wearing those clothes can be summed up in one word: uncomfortable.
The clothes made by the Demon Race's craftsmen were terrible. They looked high-end, but actually wearing them was just like rubbing sandpaper on your skin.
But the Demon Race's craftsmen had something to say too; it wasn't that they didn't try hard, but the best fabric that could be produced on this land of the Demon Race was just like this.
It couldn't be compared with the fabric from the humans or elves, but compared to the beastmen's side, it was still quite acceptable.
"I can have that designer redesign a set for you; she seems very willing to design clothes for you."
"Don't, why would I wear those? I don't want to go back to being that Demon King." Leticia hurriedly refused. If she were to wear that kind of clothing, even a fool would be able to notice Leticia's extraordinariness.
A cute little girl might at most make people exclaim, "How cute," but a girl who carries an aura of dominance is different.
"I just want to see." Melanie rested her chin on her hand, her crimson eyes staring intently at Leticia.
"Don't think about it, don't look." Leticia ignored Melanie's completely amateurish eye attack. "Watch your movie properly."
"Oh." Melanie lowered her head in disappointment, but soon her mood became excited again, because on the big screen, the Sword Saint finally appeared.
It's just that the gap between the Sword Saint on the big screen and the real Sword Saint was much larger than the gap between the Demon King and the Demon King.
