Chapter 68 - Chapter 68. Good luck.

"Your brain should be filled with brains, not shit!" Leticia yelled, her composure slightly shattered by Melanie's idiotic move.

Two large red characters appeared on the black and white screen, indicating that Leticia had crashed.

The mechanisms in low-level dungeons don't play fair; if it's a one-shot kill, it's a one-shot kill, no matter how high your level is.

This time, it was Melanie's misoperation that triggered a trap, causing their three-person team to instantly die on the spot.

"Yuna, don't scold York Rose. She's just a beginner, it's normal for her not to know things," the Guild Leader quickly interjected.

Although failing made her feel a bit disappointed, compared to Leticia, she was still able to control her emotions.

"But the BOSS was just a little further ahead! Now that we're dead, we have to go back to the save point and fight our way through again, it's so troublesome!" Leticia glared fiercely at the bewildered Melanie. "Can't you just stay behind me obediently and not mess with those unnecessary things?"

"Oh, okay." Melanie nodded, then felt the need to explain her previous action. "I saw a red button over there and wanted to see what would happen if I pressed it."

"My dear sister, that's red! Don't you know what color red is?!" Leticia slammed her palm on the table. Is this Melanie crazy? A red button clearly tells you not to press it, how could she still press it?

As a result, she directly activated the entire dungeon's self-destruct program. It was truly speechless.

"Hahaha, I remember doing something similar once back then." But the Guild Leader laughed. Melanie's explanation reminded her of herself many years ago during the early exploration phase, also full of curiosity like Melanie. "As a result, all the teammates in my party got angry and left."

"Yuna, haven't you ever pressed it, or at least been curious about what happens when you press that button?"

The Guild Leader's question was a good one. Leticia, of course, knew the button's function and what would happen if it was pressed.

Curiosity is something everyone possesses.

"I have pressed it, but only after clearing it once. I've pressed not only this one but every single button, big or small, that could be pressed in this dungeon."

The Guild Leader was surprised. She had expected Leticia to say she hadn't pressed it. Who would have thought, Leticia was also a very curious person.

"Then why didn't you remind me?" Melanie interjected.

"Why should I remind you? Who are you to me? Do you have no shame?" Leticia turned her head and gave Melanie, who was looking at her, the middle finger, slender as an onion.

In her interactions with Melanie, Leticia always seemed exceptionally irritable.

"Actually, I've always wanted to ask you something, what does giving the middle finger mean?" Melanie didn't quite understand some of Leticia's gestures, such as giving the middle finger. She knew it was Leticia expressing her contempt, but the true meaning, she really didn't understand.

"Ahem, York Rose, it's better if you don't know about that," the Guild Leader immediately interrupted.

Given the ambiguous relationship between York Rose and Yuna, and York Rose's occasional display of a lack of common sense, the Guild Leader was a bit worried that York Rose might misunderstand Yuna's meaning.

"Why?" Melanie didn't understand.

"If you don't understand, look it up yourself. Can you stop chattering right now?" Leticia rolled her eyes. "You two, hurry up and catch up, we're about to fight the boss."

"You can solo a boss of this level, Yuna, right?" The Guild Leader immediately controlled her character to run over.

Leticia inserted the key she had taken from the previous monster room into the brass padlock on the door. With a crisp click, the lock on the door instantly shattered into several pieces.

"No matter how many times I see it, this way of opening doors is always shocking," the Guild Leader muttered softly.

"Compared to opening the door, Guild Leader, you should have a deeper impression of that boss, after all, it's the monster known as the 'Most Beautiful Boss,'" Leticia pouted as a maiden's figure slowly emerged in a brilliant golden light. "What an old friend I haven't seen in a long time."

"I actually prefer the big butterfly from the Northern Lands Event; it's more beautiful and has more artistic flair. This Saintess here has no soul, so she's not considered pretty."

"What kind of soul can a clone have? If you want a soul, go find the real Saintess." Leticia stated that she still preferred humanoid creatures.

While that big butterfly was indeed beautiful, Leticia simply couldn't use the word 'like' to describe her feelings towards it.

"Done for the day, Melanie, go loot the chest." Under the suppression of her level, Leticia didn't spend much effort dealing with the boss. After throwing a few small skills, the boss fell to the ground somewhat miserably.

Her broken white dress and messy golden short hair couldn't help but evoke a trace of pity in one's heart.

"She looks a bit pitiful," Melanie said softly.

A small golden chest had appeared in front of the boss, containing the rewards for this clear.

Melanie walked to the chest and pressed the interact key. Instantly, a brilliant golden light erupted.

"Holy shit, a gold drop!" Leticia and the Guild Leader simultaneously swore.

The drop rate in this game could be described as ridiculously low. For a dungeon to drop gold on its first clear was simply the luckiest of the lucky.

"Wait, this dungeon has golden drops?" But soon, Leticia noticed something was off. The highest rarity drop for this quest should only be purple.

Melanie could only enter this dungeon after accepting a quest. Although she could re-enter to explore after clearing it once, the rewards for exploration couldn't compare to the first clear.

And even for the first clear, the highest rarity drop from the boss chest was merely the 'Saintess Hairpin,' a purple quality accessory.

"Ah, this dungeon doesn't have golden drops?"

"Guild Leader, you didn't know? Golden drops are exclusive to high-level dungeons!" Leticia was shocked. Her Guild Leader was too lazy; she didn't even know this.

"Hmm, Prophecy Book - One?" At this moment, Melanie had already taken the golden item into her hand.

Leticia quickly leaned over to take a look. The golden drop was actually a broken ancient book.
