Chapter 110 - Chapter 110: Attempting to Hatch the Dragon Egg 1/3

Just as Little Monster was preparing to leave the banquet hall, she happened to run into Mr. Tuck, who was just about to enter.

Mr. Tuck waved at Little Monster and greeted her, "Hey, Little Monster, where are you rushing off to in such a hurry?"

"In a rush."

Little Monster replied indifferently, then brushed past Tuck, leaving him completely bewildered.

"Strange, she usually stays until the very end." Tuck scratched his head, seemingly puzzled by Little Monster's unusual behavior.

Afterward, Tuck shrugged and stopped paying attention to the departing Little Monster, instead looking toward the banquet hall. Soon, he spotted Syl sitting at a round table in the corner.

Tuck was quite interested in learning more about this mysterious Miss Silver Crow, but clearly, he had no good excuse to approach her.

Furthermore, Silver Crow had previously purchased a set of Fear Spikes here at a low price... that thing was not something a normal person could use.

A weapon that hurts the enemy by a hundred while hurting oneself by three or four hundred; acquiring it meant either reselling it or being a desperado.

And Silver Crow did not look like she was short on money.

So, Tuck was more inclined to believe Silver Crow was the latter.

Throughout the entire Salon, Tuck had been looking for an opportunity to observe Silver Crow.

However, for some reason, Silver Crow sat motionless today, as if she were contemplating something, and did not participate in any discussions.

And... the lady with the bull mask had also sat down next to her. Did they know each other? The two were sitting together.

Tuck planned to find the lady with the bull mask after the Salon ended to inquire about Silver Crow's background. If he could find out something, that would be good; if not, it didn't really matter.

Until the Salon ended, Syl did not buy anything, only quietly listening to the people around her discussing magic, occasionally asking the girl with the bull mask some questions about magic.

She made no effort to hide the fact that she was a magic novice. After all, anyone with Spiritual Sight could see that Silver Crow had never consumed any magic potions or holy potions.

Because physicians do not use magic; instead, they rely on flesh stitching, constantly creating stitched monsters to serve them as a means of combat.

And they constantly collect various poisons to increase the toxicity of their own blood. This is the correct path for a physician to grow stronger.

Therefore, Syl had specifically kept an eye out at the Salon to see if anyone was selling poisons or similar items, but unfortunately, there was nothing worth buying at this Salon.

Syl was already considering whether she should go check out the so-called "Dark Alley." It sounded like one of those underground material exchanges where danger and opportunity coexist.

After the Salon ended, Syl carried her bag and walked toward the Duke District.

Syl prepared to find Bonsandi and have him scout out a property for her.

At the same time, she would use this as an excuse to probe Baro Bonsandi for information.

After all, the current Ivisa District was undergoing drastic changes, and perhaps she could learn something from Bonsandi, such as who the real mastermind behind the scenes was.

Although the previous mission was completed, Syl had not yet triggered any follow-up missions.

In her current mission list, there was only the brainless "Witch's Gaze" mission that she didn't know how to complete. To grow stronger quickly, Syl had to find a way to trigger follow-up missions.

In less than half an hour, Syl quickly walked through two blocks and arrived at the Duke District.

Walking along the Avenue of Protection in the Duke District, Syl soon saw Bonsandi's mansion.

"Lord Silver Crow."

It was still the same two guards at the entrance; they recognized Syl immediately and let her pass.

A maid tending to the flowers in the garden walked up, bowed slightly to Syl, and said:

"Baron Bonsandi and Miss Per are in the back garden. Let me take you there, Lord Silver Crow."

"Lead the way." Syl nodded, not saying much else.

Everyone in the Bonsandi mansion had almost seen her face—after all, she was still hanging on their wall.

However, Syl still did not want to take off her mask. She didn't know if it was because she was used to wearing it, or because physicians liked it that way.

After being led to the back garden by the maid, Syl saw Bonsandi.

He was sitting opposite his daughter in the glass sunroom in the middle of the garden. Through the glass, Syl saw that the scars on Per's face were almost gone.

It seemed the recovery was going quite well.

Bonsandi also seemed to notice someone. When he turned his head to look back, his pupils contracted instantly. He stood up, walked toward Syl, and opened the door to the sunroom.

"Lord Silver Crow, welcome!"

Per also stood up and respectfully performed an aristocratic salute to her savior.

"What brings Lord Silver Crow here this time? A follow-up visit? Or do you need me to do something for you?" Baro Bonsandi knew Syl did not like to waste time, so he spoke directly.

"I want you to do me a favor." Syl said directly, "I need a house that is spacious enough. Any district is fine, as long as it is quiet enough."

"Oh! A house to live in, right! You've asked the right person. I happen to have several vacant ones on hand." Barro made room and asked, "Shall we talk inside? Or..."

"Take me to see them now." Syl sighed, lifted the bag in her hand, and said, "I mainly want a place where I can store things."

"Understood—" Barro immediately understood Syl's requirement: a quiet, spacious villa with a basement storage room.

"As it happens, on the adjacent Kings Avenue, I have a villa near the edge... It's quiet there, and the surrounding houses are often unoccupied... Mainly because there aren't many people living in the vicinity, so I haven't lived there myself; I just arranged for a few maids to clean it."

"You know, for people like us, the purpose of choosing a place to live is just to facilitate social interaction."

Speaking of which, Barro asked, "Miss Silver Crow, do you need me to have someone take you to see it? If you think it's suitable, just move in. I will have someone deliver the deed to you later."

"As for me, I won't go over... I have to deal with some troublesome matters later."

"Fine, then have someone take me to see it." Syl nodded, then asked casually, "Troublesome matters? Ibiza?"

"Yes... You must have seen the reports... Sigh, to be honest, I wanted to establish a protection law to appease the workers' moods, but for some reason, the people above just aren't willing."

At this point, Barro did not continue, but raised his hand to summon a maid, instructing her to take Syl to the villa on Kings Avenue.

Syl did not continue to ask either; there was no point. Now, all she wanted to do was go to that villa, put away her things, and then try to see if she could hatch that Dragon Egg card.

She just hoped that it wouldn't turn into a dragon egg and then be unable to turn back.
