The Bleed
Hello all! This book has been a long time in the making! Years, in fact. What began as a short story for an English assignment in sixth grade slowly grew into something far larger than I ever expected. It lived in Word documents, Google Docs, and the pages of worn notebooks, evolving piece by piece as I did.
Writing has always been more than just a hobby for me. It's been a way to process, to create, and to escape and The Bleed became a reflection of that journey. Every revision, every late night, every moment of doubt or excitement shaped what this story has become today.
I want to take a moment to acknowledge the people and influences that helped bring this project to life. To the teachers who encouraged my writing early on, thank you for seeing potential and pushing me to explore it further. To anyone who listened to my ideas, read early drafts, or supported me along the way, your encouragement meant more than you probably realized.
Most importantly, thank you to you, the reader. The fact that this story has made it into your hands is something I don't take lightly.
The Bleed is only the beginning. What started as a single idea has grown into a larger world, and I'm incredibly excited to continue this story as a series!
