Chapter 1 - A Company Plant

It was a rainy day when a boy named

Jeong-hyeong was running under a poorly cleaned umbrella.

"Shit.." he mumbled under his breath

Looking at the time on his clock indicating "1AM". Jeong-hyeong was already late for curfew

10 hours before

"Don't be late" his mom stated with a slight annoyed tone.

The boy was already on his way out "sure sure" he said nonchalantly, not caring apparently.

Now he was being soaked in dirty rain water glancing at his watch again but this didn't seem to function well, the watch was soaked to its very last.

He frowned and cursed at himself

"Shit… Shit!" He yelled quite loudly but no matter the noise he was trapped in a forest without end, this shortcut of his would cost him his life… And a watch.

Running now through the woods, the leaves of the trees he sat under were soaked letting droplets fall onto this boy's clothes, jeong pulled out his phone but no signal.

Glancing up and down, left and right, looking for at least someone, his gaze was focused on a distant tree.

Squinting his eyes trying to see something

"What..is that..?" He noticed something or.. someone behind the tree.

A noise was heard really close to his ears, a kids laugh, he was shocked using his hands to move back but ended up hitting his head on the tree he was sitting below of.

Looking at every way possible but nothing, complete silence and darkness, he closed his eyes hoping it was a nightmare.

Opened his eyes but nothing, still in the same place below the same tree soaked in water.

The cold breeze of the air was freezing, already mad enough he started hitting his head once, twice and thrice with both of his hands until he felt a huge headache.

Now closing his eyes, with an intention to sleep, suddenly feeling dizzy and falling into a deep sleep.

After a few minutes his eyes opened, this looked like the inside of.. his house?

He heard a knock on the door, now sitting down on what seemed his bed.

"Jeong-hyeong are you awake?" The familiar voice asked, his… mom..?

He rapidly stood up from his bed walking to his door, grabbing the doorknob turning it, and opening the door.

In front of him was a darkness void without any end. The door leading to nowhere, a strange silhouette approached him.

Before he could figure out who was it, he woke up, below the same tree.
