Chapter 1 - CHAPTER 1: The Transmigration

POV: ???

Wow, I said as tears fell down my face. I had just finished The Vampire Diaries. It was something I decided to watch after finishing The Originals, which I can say is for a more mature audience. In the early seasons, TVD was really a teen drama series, which wasn't bad—just that some things were pretty stupid at times. Like, I don't think Klaus would let anyone from the main cast in TVD live after they killed two of his brothers. But then again, he did basically have them dead for centuries.

And Elena… oh my goodness, Elena had to be the most annoying person in the show. The actress did a good job bringing her to life, but she was way too selfish at times. Trying to decide Jeremy's life for him really pissed me off. And how she and Damon ended up together made no sense. But then again, good guys finish last.

Speaking of good guys, Stefan was the best character other than Bonnie, who basically got shit on the whole show. Like, I don't get how Elena got with Damon when he literally killed her brother. He didn't even know Jeremy had the ring on. But yeah, they did my boy Stefan wrong by killing him at the end when it was for damn sure supposed to be Damon.

But it is what it is.

I looked at my phone and went on WN to find a fanfiction. I wanted to know if anyone had made a fic about an upgraded Original hybrid. The Beast serum was one of the closest things in The Originals, in my opinion, and Marcel definitely deserved the power he got. But I always wondered what it would be like if someone like Klaus got the serum. He would probably be the strongest in the verse.

Just imagine it: a hybrid already stronger than most vampires getting that serum. They would be basically unstoppable.

After a while, I went to sleep while reading a fanfic by Red Dreed. I wondered when he was going to drop the next chapter of the HOTD fanfic.

But when I woke up… I wasn't in my bed.

"Hello, my child," I heard a voice call out.

I opened my eyes, and around me was nothing—just nothing. I couldn't see my hands. I couldn't even feel anything. The first thought, of course, was that I was dreaming.

"You are not dreaming, my child."

I turned around to see a bronze-skinned man with long hair like wool and eyes that looked like they could light the world.

"Jesus," I said.

For some reason, I knew this was my savior—the one and only Jesus Christ.

He smiled. "Yes, my child. It's okay to be surprised. You are not the first and won't be the last."

I stared at him for a while, and then it hit me.

Wait… if I was seeing the Son of God…

"Wait… am I dead?"

"Yes," Jesus said. "You are. But before you ask, no, I will not be sending you to Heaven or Hell—at least not in this lifetime."

"You see, my child, you didn't live the most holy life. But you did good in my name. Yes, you sinned, but you wanted forgiveness for each of those sins, and I forgave you for them."

"And when you saved that little girl from that fire when you were sixteen, that sealed your fate for today."

I instantly remembered what he was talking about.

One day, I was walking home from school, and a house was on fire. At first, I thought I should just leave it alone. But then I heard a scream, and I ran in. Eventually, I came out with a little girl in my arms. I told the authorities to keep my name out of it because I didn't like the spotlight much. I was a shy person at heart, to be honest.

"And it is because of that," Jesus said, "that I will be sending you to the world of TVD."

My eyes widened.

"Are you serious, Jesus? Like, for real? You're sending me there?"

Part of me was excited. The other part was scared, because what would I do in a world full of monsters?

"And I will let you spin for three wishes."

A spinning wheel appeared right beside Jesus.

I walked over and took a deep breath.

"First, we have to choose your race," Jesus said.

I looked at the wheel and spun it. It kept spinning until it landed on Werewolf.

I facepalmed.

"You've got to be joking."

In my opinion, all the races in the TVD universe were cool… except werewolves. I mean, you had to kill someone to trigger the curse, and the power you gained only came out when you turned. Breaking every bone in your body every full moon was not something I would find myself enjoying.

I spun the wheel again. This time it was Special Power.

It landed on Knowledge of Any Spell.

At first, I was kind of mad. I mean, I'm not a witch, so I can't use magic. But then I realized something. Just because I wasn't a witch didn't mean I couldn't use a witch to do it for me.

The last one was Random Spin.

I spun the wheel, and it landed on Infinite Storage Space.

That was actually perfect, because for what I wanted to do, I would need to carry a lot of stuff.

Jesus looked at me and smiled.

"Do as you wish in this world, my child. This is a reward. Your place in Heaven is already safe unless you become a killing maniac. Just remember this: it is not a TV show anymore. You can die, and these are real people, so treat them as such."

With that, he tapped my head, and I was gone.

When I woke up, I was in what seemed to be a room in an inn—and a medieval one at that, judging from how old it looked. So I definitely wasn't in the 20th century.

Out of nowhere, I got a huge headache as the memories of this body's life came to me.

My name was Nero Tone.

I was born to a loving family in Africa, but we moved to Britain because my father had befriended a lord there. He gave us a big house and everything.

Later on, they found out my family were werewolves… and they killed us all in our sleep.

Except me.

I wasn't home at the time.

I ran and eventually ended up in France, which was where I was now.

I got up and looked around. I didn't have much to my name—only a bag with the things I needed and the clothes on my back. There was a bucket of water in the room, and I used it to see my reflection.

I was pretty handsome.

Brown skin, hazel eyes, and a finely sculpted face.

I grabbed my things and headed out. I gave the innkeeper his coin and left.

I was in some small village. I didn't know what it was called, but the people here seemed happy.

As I walked, I suddenly remembered something.

Tonight was a full moon.

And it would be my first time in this body turning into a werewolf.

I was not ready for that in the slightest.

In my head, I started going through the spells I knew. And, well… I knew all the spells in this world, which was a lot. Eventually, I found the one I was looking for.

The Moonlight Ring spell.

This would allow me to use my werewolf powers in human form, and I wouldn't have to turn unless I took the ring off.

The things I needed were black kyanite, the spell itself—which I had memorized and could write down—and a powerful witch.

The first two wouldn't be that hard.

But the last one… I was completely lost.

Still, it was one thing at a time.

Because right now, I had something much worse to worry about.

The pain I was going to go through tonight.
