Elaris POV
I rushed for the door as fast as I could, stumbling into the room, my chest pounding, breath raspy. I was shutting the door after me when somehow his foot got stuck between the door and it's frame.
How in the bloody hell did he move so fast? I pushed the door against his boot. And even with the pain that should be coursing through him right now, he still remained his foot in the doorway.
"Let me in, Doctor," he growled from outside.
"I am not," I shot back. I slammed the door against his boot again. Perhaps he was impervious to pain, or he was just too crazy. He still didn't take his foot from the door.
"Let me in, Doctor," he barked, every note screaming his rage.
"I won't be opening the door, so go—"
The door shook against my fingers as he rammed into it from outside.
I tried to hold on, but when he slammed into it again with his shoulders, I gave up against his stronger strength.
