Chapter 83 - The training

You decided it was time to begin the training immediately, but with one clear condition in mind.

"Let's start," you said, standing in the center of the vast floating island. "Full power for all of you — push yourselves to the absolute limit. I will hold back. I won't use even a fraction of my true strength. This is for you three to grow and test your complete freedom."

Miya's eyes flashed with excitement and determination. "As you wish, my lord. I won't hold anything back against you."

Lukas grinned, shadows exploding around him like living galaxies. "Finally… let's see what we can really do now that there are no rules."

Liora stepped forward beside her husband, silver hair flowing, her gentle presence now backed by the same limitless freedom. "I'm ready too."

The training began.

Miya attacked first — a blinding blur of moonlight and steel. Starfang sang through the air as she unleashed her full S-rank Sword Mage power combined with her new unrestricted freedom. Walls of thorns and flame, binding chains of starlight, and slashes that could carve mountains erupted toward you. You dodged and blocked with minimal effort, never counter-attacking at full strength, only guiding her movements and forcing her to adapt faster.

Lukas came next, summoning an endless shadow army of SSS-rank knights that swarmed the island. He flew at twenty times the speed of light, scythe swinging in arcs that split the sky. You let his attacks land just enough to test him, then gently redirected them, making him refine his control and creativity.

Liora fought with surprising ferocity — using the freedom you granted her to weave healing magic with offensive bursts, supporting Lukas while striking at you with precise silver energy blades. The three of them coordinated perfectly, pushing each other harder than ever before.

Hours blurred into a relentless, exhilarating storm of power. The floating island shook and cracked under the force, but you repaired it instantly with the tiniest thought. You held back exactly as promised — never once using more than a fraction of your limitless might — yet still challenged them to their absolute limits.

By the time the two suns began to set, all three were drenched in sweat, breathing heavily, but glowing with pride and growth. Miya's eyes burned with satisfaction. Lukas laughed breathlessly, shadows still dancing around him. Liora leaned against her husband, smiling through exhaustion.

Miya wiped her brow and looked at you with pure devotion.

"You held back… and still made us grow so much. Thank you, my lord."

Lukas nodded, eyes shining. "I feel stronger already. We all do."

The island was quiet once more, the training session complete for the day. Your group was bonded tighter than ever, their powers refined through true freedom.
