Chapter 1 - The Entrance That Stole the Air

Chapter 1: The Entrance That Stole the Air

St. Teresa's College wasn't just a college. It was a stage.

A place where money spoke louder than merit, where luxury cars lined up like trophies, and where reputations were built faster than friendships. Students didn't just attend classes here—they performed.

And no one performed better than them.

The gates of St. Teresa creaked open that morning, sunlight spilling across the polished driveway. A murmur rippled through the crowd. Heads turned. Phones were subtly raised.

"They're here…"

A sleek black car rolled in first, stopping with perfect precision. The driver stepped out and opened the door.

Out came Ishaan Srivastav.

Soft curls falling over his forehead, a lazy smile playing on his lips, and eyes that looked like they carried secrets—and promises. He adjusted his watch casually, glancing around as if the world belonged to him.

"Miss me?" he said lightly, his voice smooth enough to make even strangers pause.

Girls whispered. Boys rolled their eyes.

Ishaan just smirked.

Another car pulled in—this one louder, sharper, impossible to ignore.

The door swung open and Bunny stepped out.

Tall. Sharp. Dangerous.

He didn't smile. He didn't need to.

With sunglasses covering his eyes and a jawline that could cut glass, he exuded the kind of cold arrogance that made people either admire him… or fear him.

Behind him, the other door opened.

"Move, Bunny, you're blocking my entrance," came a cheerful voice.

Ria stepped out, sunlight catching in her hair, her smile soft and warm. She waved at a few people she recognized, her kindness radiating effortlessly.

"Good morning!" she chirped.

Right behind her, stepping out with grace and precision, was Mia.

Elegance personified.

Her heels clicked against the ground like a statement. Perfect outfit. Perfect posture. Perfect attitude.

She didn't wave.

She didn't smile.

She simply existed—and that was enough to command attention.

"Same faces. Same noise," she muttered, adjusting her sunglasses.

And then came the final piece.

A bike roared into the campus, cutting through the tension like a blade.

Shivaay.

Helmet off. Hair slightly messy. Shirt sleeves rolled just enough.

He looked like trouble… but the kind that topped every exam.

"Late again," Ishaan teased.

"Unlike you, I don't need an audience," Shivaay replied coolly, parking the bike.

The five stood together now.

Different personalities. Different energies.

But together?

Unstoppable.

"The royalty has arrived," someone whispered.

And just like that, they walked forward—slow, confident, untouchable.

At the far end of the campus, near the notice board, stood three figures who didn't belong to that world.

Not yet.

"Okay… this place is insane," Nisha said, hands on her hips as she scanned the campus.

She wore confidence like armor. Short hair, easy stance, and zero hesitation in her voice.

"Don't stare too much," she nudged the girl beside her. "You'll look like a tourist."

"I-I'm not staring," Ruhi murmured, though she clearly was.

Soft eyes. Gentle presence. She clutched her bag tightly, as if it grounded her.

Everything here felt too big. Too loud.

Too… much.

Beside them stood Ayaan, adjusting his glasses nervously.

"I think we should just find our classroom," he said. "Orientation starts in ten minutes."

"Relax, professor," Nisha grinned. "We just got here. Let's at least breathe."

But her voice softened as her gaze drifted toward the main path.

Toward them.

The five rich students walking like they owned the world.

"Whoa…" she whispered. "Now that's a dramatic entry."

Ruhi followed her gaze and immediately looked down again.

"They look… intimidating."

Ayaan swallowed.

"They are intimidating."

Nisha smirked.

"Good," she said. "I like challenges."

As the two groups unknowingly moved closer—one wrapped in privilege, the other in resilience—the air shifted.

Something was about to begin.

Not just college.

Not just rivalry.

But a story that would blur lines…

Between dreams and reality.

Between hate and love.

And none of them knew it yet.

But this was the day everything changed.
