Chapter 128 - The Faceless’s Deadline

Manson's gaze shifted to the stool at the other end of the room; he walked towards it.

"Should I ask him about last night's kiss," she muttered under her breath, "or just let go of it?"

He placed the stool in front of her before lowering himself onto it and then rested his elbows on his knees.

"Alright," he extended a hand, "let me see."

Fiona passed the script to him; silence lingered between them after a few minutes. Later, he gave her the script with a faint smile curled on his lips.

"Have you memorized your dialogue?"

"Mmm."

"So we are good to go?"

"Yeah."

Manson's smile slowly vanished; his playful demeanor melted away, replaced by a chilling seriousness that instantly transformed his entire presence.

A mocking smile crossed his lips.

Jealous Ex: You stole my leftovers, congratulations.Fiona scoffed; she leaned back, slipping into character.

Supporting role: Thanks, but it's so painful you get over how your father left your mom.
