Chapter 82 - He Said He Didn’t Care Then Knew His Name

One by one, they picked up their plates of fruit salad before settling back onto the sofas.

The room slowly grew quieter.

Manson reached for the remote and clicked on the massive television mounted across the room. The screen flickered to life, casting a soft glow over their faces.

Ryan glanced at him from the side.

"You connected your Netflix account?"

Manson nodded casually.

"Yeah."

Ryan's grin slowly turned mischievous as he leaned forward, eyes sparkling with trouble.

"Good." He rubbed his hands together. "Then let's watch something… far more interesting."

Ryan clicked the remote, and the screen immediately lit up with the dramatic scene.

A tense exchange echoed through the room:

["You think I stopped wanting more just because I became a wife and mother?"

"That's not what I said… I just don't recognize the version of you chasing something you already have."

"Maybe that's the problem—you think I'm supposed to stop dreaming because I chose stability."
