At that moment, his body began to glow with a light blue radiance.
And something spoke inside his head. He first heard a 'ding' inside his head, but then something else. It was a mechanical, robotic voice.

As the voice inside his head begins to speak, something different happens at the same time.
The red sky of the Godsgrave begins to swirl around Noah.
His hand, just an inch away from where he wished to be, begins to glow with a dark red radiance.
[The Goddess of Ruin is looking at you.]
Everything around him seemed to have stopped in that moment. Even the blood that was dripping out of his body stopped.
Every single being present inside the Godsgrave grave, including all the monsters in there... felt a chill run down their spine.
[The Goddess of Ruin stares down at you with pity.]
The voice continued to narrate what was happening there. Though, no one else could see what exactly was going on there.
His fingers moved instinctively, even when he was unconscious, not even in a state where he could listen to the voice inside his head, his fingers moved, touching something beneath the red soil.

Noah did not hear a word, nor understood what was said there. Like a dead man, he lay without moving.
[The Goddess of Ruin turned furious.]

The voice inside his head repeated the same thing over and over and over. Not stopping for hours.
Eventually, it had to stop and it did, after sending a last message inside his head.
After the last message was delivered, the voice inside his head disappeared, but something bizarre followed right after.
It rained inside the Godsgrave, but not the kind of rain with tons of raindrops falling. It was a single drop.
A single drop of water fell on his cheeks which was soon devoured inside him.
The spear wound he had, all the fatigue and even the blood he lost... all of them recovered within the blink of an eye.
He was healed instantly.
Still, it took him a few seconds to get back his consciousness. After lying there for a while, his eyes twitched, and with a pained expression on his face, he opened his eyes.
His body, though recovered, was still in shock from the pain he had bhad suffered.
His blurry vision cleared soon. Skimming around him, he noticed he was still in the Godsgrave.
Suddenly, he realised the betrayal he faced, making his eyes go cold. He tried to touch his stomach, but to his surprise, the hole he had received was gone.
He immediately tried to get up and see it for himself, and it was really gone.
"I am fine? How?"
He couldn't believe what he was seeing, he checked again and again and found he was truly healed.
He even grabbed his head to check if he was hit there, making him hallucinate things, but he was fine there too.
As he was wondering how this miracle had happened, a single conclusion reached his mind.
"Did I awaken?"
That was the only plausible explanation. The first awakening might heal him.
This was what he was hoping to happen to begin with.
Naturally, that realisation excited him. However, it was short-lived.
After going through the betrayal from his closest friend, nothing could make him happy anymore.
He was hoping for a way to pay back the betrayal and maybe he had found a way.
But he couldn't place all his hopes on his awakening alone.
Your academic abilities or your physical strength, none of that matters inside the Godsgrave grave.
Anyone can get any rank. They are all up to someone's fate.
The rank of the classes that can be awakened, goes from the bottom rank F to the highest till now as the S rank.
Some people do say that there can be a higher rank than these, but till now... S is the highest rank anyone has ever received.
The rank of a class is very important during awakening. It is directly related to the skills you can awaken and also related to the strength you can have.
Every class comes with a level restriction. The higher the rank of a class, the higher the level you can get.
Someone with an F rank might not even be able to surpass Level 20, no matter how much they try.
So, it is very important which rank you get.
'I need to check my class and my rank... if it is lower than Robert's, then I can never get my revenge.'
Noah clearly remembers Robert boldly saying that he received an A rank in class, spear knight.
A rank... that was already a very high rank. If Noah wishes to surpass Robert then he will need to have an A rank or S rank class.
He also needed to think about the consequences later on if he wanted to follow Robert. He has a large backing behind him.
A normal guy like him, cannot act foolishly.
Noah laughed bitterly when he thought of that.

That was almost impossible. Almost.
With little to no hope in his mind, he muttered the word, "Status", to open up his system panel.
It won't work if he isn't awakened, but if he is, a system panel will show before him.
It will be a lie to say he was nervous right now. His heart was pounding loudly inside his chest.
To his luck, the panel did open up before him, but it looked a bit different. It did not show his class or his rank or even his stats, it showed a message, a single message.
Every notification or narration from before was gone. A single last message was left on his system screen.
