Chapter 2: The Will to Create
Before all things were shaped…
before order, before life, before even meaning—
there existed a single realm.
The 10th Realm.
And within it… a being was born.
The First Being.
---
It possessed limitless power.
It saw all things.
It knew all possibilities.
It was omniscient.
It was omnipotent.
And yet—
it did not know one thing.
Why it existed.
---
Though it could perceive everything…
it could not understand itself.
And in that endless awareness—
it felt something it could not erase.
Loneliness.
---
For eternity, it remained alone.
No voice to answer.
No presence to acknowledge.
No existence… but its own.
---
It already knew what would happen if it created life.
They would be imperfect.
They would struggle.
They would fall into chaos.
They would become… flawed.
---
It hesitated.
For it knew creation would not be perfect.
But then… it thought:
"I exist without reason…"
"Then why should creation need one?"
---
And so, it made a decision.
"I will create."
"I will give you freedom."
"And perhaps… one day…"
"You will surpass me… and discover the truth I cannot."
---
From its will, four beings were born.
Yhach.
Primus.
Xyvern.
Pholivion.
---
They were the first creations.
The first beings after the First Being.
They awakened and stood before their creator.
Pholivion spoke first.
"You… are the one who created us?"
---
The First Being replied:
"I created you… for a reason."
Though even it did not fully understand that reason.
---
Then it gave them a command:
"Create everything."
"Do not hesitate."
"Do not fear imperfection."
"And above all…"
"Give them freedom."
---
And so, they began.
Yhach created the foundation of reality—
the flow of existence, the unseen structure of what is and what could be.
Primus shaped matter and time—
giving form, stability, and boundaries to all things.
Xyvern created life—
beings that could grow, evolve, and change.
Pholivion created the cycle—
life, death, and reincarnation.
It also formed the heavens—
a place beyond life.
A place of judgment.
---
The First Being declared:
"Those who live well shall return."
"Those who fall into darkness…"
"Shall be erased from existence."
---
When all was complete, the First Being spoke once more:
"Thank you… for doing the right thing."
---
Then it gave them freedom.
"I will not control your will."
"Not even yours."
---
And so, roles were given.
---
"Yhach—
you will maintain reality itself."
"If something goes wrong…
you may fix it."
"Or erase it."
---
"Primus—
you will create boundaries."
"Separate the higher and lower realms."
"Only those worthy may pass."
---
Primus asked:
"What if they force their way through?"
---
The First Being answered:
"Then you may punish them."
"Do as you see fit."
---
"Xyvern—
you will govern life."
"You will restore those who are worthy."
---
"Pholivion—
you will judge all beings."
"If they are worthy—
Xyvern will return them."
"If they are not—
they will be erased."
---
Then, the First Being created the cultivation levels—
paths of ascent for every planet, every universe, and even for the realms themselves.
A system through which all beings could grow, evolve, and transcend.
A path that could one day reach even its own position.
---
Thus, the order of existence was established.
Not perfect.
Not controlled.
But free.
---
And from that freedom—
all things began.
Life.
Conflict.
Growth.
Chaos.
Meaning.
---
And above it all…
The First Being watched.
Still searching.
Still waiting.
For the one who could answer—
what even it could not understand.
