Kael's POV
The jacket had been on the fence post since our last meet up.
I had noticed it when I arrived for the session and had not mentioned it because Akira had been in a mid-sequence and interrupting a sequence for a jacket was not something either of us would have considered a productive use of the interruption.
The session had run long, the disorientation recovery drills taking three full hours, and by the end of it the jacket had still been on the fence post. Akira had left without it and I had looked at it for a moment before picking it up.
Practical. It was cold outside and his jacket was here. He would need it eventually and returning it was the straightforward solution to a minor logistical gap.
