Daniel sat at the table glaring us down like we were the scum of the earth. The ramen shop was nearly empty, so any commotion would likely go unnoticed by anyone but the staff.
I hope.
"So this is where you ran off to," Daniel continued. "I had a hard time finding you. Go ahead, keep talking about what you're planning to do to me and my wife. After all, you were already planning on making the first move, weren't you?"
"You came to find us, dude," Tyler said, rolling his eyes.
"Good for us," I smirked. "Means we don't have to drag him out of hiding."
"But it's the middle of a meal. Doing this now is kind of annoying," Pinky complained, sighing.
I nodded. "Anyway, I think we should."
"HEY! What do you mean, 'drag me out of hiding'?!" Daniel snapped, slamming his hands on the table. "As long as I'm here, you won't lay a finger on my wife. Today, you'll all die by my hand!"
"It's tacky to talk shit while people are eating," I said.
Daniel's response? He flipped our table.
