The task assigned on the first day was simple. Just casual things that wasn't so much work
Everyone picked a piece of paper and Kaya picked the white paper Stefan had his eyes on. She excitedly opened it.
"Find out five villagers names" she excitedly read it out loud.
Others followed reading out their menial tasks when it reached Madeline's turn, she came back with a green card " I've got a better feeling about this one"
Stefan hurriedly nodded his head, opening the paper.
Seeing what was written on it, he froze.
The paper read "clean out the village poultry".
Stefan : (.....)
Staring at Madeline with wronged eyes, he quickly composed himself "it's okay… it's not so bad" he spoke not knowing if he was consoling Madeline or himself.
He looked at Kaya bobbing around after getting a simple task which should have been theirs but couldn't say anything.
