Evelyn then slipped out of the Sin family residence once again. When she passed her elder brother's bedroom, she deliberately quickened her pace.
However, after a brief pause, she decided she should still give them a heads-up. Standing in the hallway, she yelled toward the door, "Vivian, I'm heading out! I won't be back tonight!"
The only response she got was a startled muffled sound from inside. Blushing furiously, Evelyn covered her face and hurried downstairs.
Outside the front entrance, her phone began ringing again.
She picked up the call, huffing into the receiver, "Hold your horses! What's the big rush? Can't you wait a single..."
A low chuckle came from the other end. "Don't come over tonight. It's too late, just drive over early tomorrow morning." Though, if she insisted on coming right now, he was more than ready to pick her up.
Evelyn bit her lip in frustration. This man was truly insufferable; she really wanted to throw a high heel right at his face!
