"What's the matter?" Evelyn asked curiously into the speaker. Spotting the estate's imported big cat sanctuary in the distance, Clara let go of her mother's hand and went skipping over to admire the lions and tigers behind the reinforced enclosure, with Lucian following closely to keep a watchful eye on her.
Vivian, who had just stepped out of the hospital, couldn't conceal the joy in her voice. "Evelyn, I'm pregnant again! It's already been over two months!"
Evelyn let out a squeal of excitement right into the phone. "Really?! That's amazing news! Congratulations, Vivian! You're going to be a mother again! Alen sure moves fast!"
Vivian's cheeks flushed bright red. "I'm on my way to tell your brother right now, he doesn't even know yet!"
"Go on then, and drive carefully!" Evelyn reminded her warmly.
