Chapter 34 - Chapter 32: The Sad Girl’s Determination

I am Aria Olika, eldest daughter of the Olika Flame Empire.

Our world is ruled by fire. Over fifty percent of its landmass is under the dominion of my family. As the empire's heiress, I bear immense responsibility—not only politically, but magically. In our world, females possess superior fire potential, making me the natural successor.

But from birth, it was clear I was... different.

My hair shifts from crimson to calm blue. My eyes follow suit.

What my family doesn't know: I harbor two souls.

One is mine—Aria, the destined Empress. The other is Yanita, a reincarnated soul from Earth. She was chosen by the War God. Her power and memories shape me. We are two souls, one body.

Two lives. One destiny.

A chill swept the chamber as Aria was slammed into a wall. Something dark and ancient stirred within her.

Hiroy's voice rang out: "Kara! Frana! Fall back!"

The walls shook. Fire erupted from Aria in a monstrous wave. Hiroy's eyes widened.

The truth was now clear—this woman possessed two distinct auras. And the one rising now? Explosively stronger than before.

She emerged from the inferno. Her once cool blue hair now burned crimson. Her eyes glowed like molten embers. Her gentle demeanor had vanished—this was a ruler, a storm of fire given form.

Two meteor-sized fireballs appeared overhead.

They crashed down on Frana and Kara, smashing them into the stone. They barely survived—burned, battered, but breathing.

"Lani, Lilith—get them out of here," Hiroy commanded.

He summoned his scythe.

It shimmered—then reshaped itself into sleek, radiant golden armor that clung to his body.

Even Hiroy looked surprised by the transformation. No time to admire it.

He charged.

His foot slammed into Aria's gut, launching her backward—only for Hiroy to appear behind her midair, delivering three rapid-fire kicks that sent her crashing in the opposite direction.

A vortex of wind spiraled around her. Lightning surged in—but to Hiroy's shock, she absorbed it. The energy vanished into nothingness.

Another explosion. The space twisted. Water surged around Hiroy, drowning the air, the ground, even time itself.

He could dodge.

But then—a voice.

"Hiroy, please..."

Soft. Familiar. Desperate.

Yanita's voice.

His heart clenched. He responded with a surge of golden energy, shattering the watery prison in a brilliant flare.

Aria stepped from the smoke, her posture noble, her presence overwhelming.

"I am Olika Aria," she declared. "Next in line to the monarch of the world ruled by flames."

"Why do you say your last name first?" Hiroy asked, squinting.

She tilted her head, then smirked. "I, Olika Aria, hail from the strongest clan of fire emperors in this solar system."

"Well, I guess I've moved universes," Hiroy muttered. "Because this is all new to me."

Aria's eyes lit with realization. "Ah! Universe 8476! You're from Yanita's world!"

Hiroy's world stopped.

"Ya... Yanita...? H-how do you...?"

His voice faltered. The name felt like a knife in his chest—sharp, sudden, real.

His magic flared violently. His eyes blazed gold. With trembling hands, he brought his palms together.

"SOUL TIE: SEAL BREAK!"

His voice echoed like a divine decree.

Aria froze. Her expression broke.

Magic roared from Hiroy as the spell activated. He could feel them—both souls—shimmering, shaking within one body.

He opened his eyes, gaze unwavering.

"Yanita," he whispered.

"I'm coming for you."
