"Your mother, Diaila, is a whore," Lamiel Law growled, sitting in front of the couch, facing Diaila. His face was tight with fury, his eyes bloodshot. "You know that, don't you? That whore didn't hesitate for one second, one Vorn-cursed second, to leave me here to be with another man! A young man of 18! How does that make sense, Diaila? Tell me! How?"
"I don't know," Diaila replied curtly, leaning back lazily on the couch. She looked at her father with barely masked scorn. "I don't know what you're talking about. And for the nth time, you should settle this with mother, not me."
