James glanced coldly at the wine glass Stanley raised, turned his head, and began to chat with William again, ignoring him. Stanley was standing there, holding the wine glass in his hand. It seemed improper to him either to drink the wine or put the glass down, which was extremely embarrassing. He had thought James had recognized him and was willing to talk to him because James had been looking at him, but it turned out he hadn't meant it at all. It seemed Stanley had flattered himself, so he could only sit down awkwardly.
William was a smart person, so he quickly had speculation. He glanced at Stanley who was sitting there, and a sneer crossed his eyes. And then he made an order to one of his subordinates. After the subordinate got the order, he walked towards Stanley with a glass of wine in his hand. "Dr. Levingston, I heard you're a highly paid expert, and I want to make a toast."
