She fiddled her seatbelt as if she was very uncomfortable.
Christopher reached out to stop her. "Sit still. Don't move. We'll reach home soon."
Janice wouldn't listen to him and moved around restlessly.
Christopher was frustrated. He knew how Janice would react after she was drunk.
Finally, he gave up driving. He helped her to get out of the car and flagged a taxi.
"Please go to Rosewell Residence."
The driver started driving.
Christopher sat in the back seat and held Janice with one hand to stop her from moving, but he couldn't stop her at all.
At that moment, Janice was sobering up after being exposed to the cold wind. She tried to open her eyes but she could only see blurred images of a person's face.
It was not until long after that she finally saw a familiar face.
"Eh? Christopher..."
Janice bat her eyelashes and asked, "Are you, Christopher?"
