"Kuroobi... was defeated?"
Nami-san stared blankly at the orange figure in front of her, her expression dazed. Among the Arlong Pirates, if Arlong was the person she feared most, Kuroobi was the second. Kuroobi's vigilant nature had left a huge psychological shadow on her, as he watched her every move while she was forced to draw navigation charts at Arlong Park. His incredible strength often left red marks on her arms that were slow to fade.
"Arlong..."
Arlong glanced at the unconscious Kuroobi, veins bulging on his forehead, his face gloomy. He never expected his strong comrade to lose so quickly to a human child. Chuu, seeing the gravity of the situation, suggested he and Hatchan take on the brat together. Hatchan, who had already drawn his six swords, agreed with a determined "Nyu".
However, Arlong stopped them, declaring the boy his own prey. An intense, bone-chilling killing intent emanated from Arlong as he walked toward Wukong. While he viewed humans as weeds, he was fiercely protective of his Fishman comrades.
"You dare to harm my comrades. You should be prepared for your fate," Arlong growled, looming nearly three meters tall over the child. Wukong, unafraid, met Arlong's cold gaze.
"That's what I should be saying to you," Wukong replied coldly. "How dare you hurt Nami like that? I will never forgive you."
Arlong launched a fierce flying kick, but Wukong dodged it with a backflip and countered with a punch that sent Arlong flying into the park's outer wall, which collapsed into rubble. Chuu and Hatchan were shocked. Chuu fired a high-pressure water gun from his lips, which Wukong narrowly dodged. Hatchan followed with his "Six-Sword Style! Octopus Leg Odd Swords," a flurry of afterimages that Wukong blocked precisely with his Ruyi Jingu Bang.
As Chuu prepared a sneak attack, he was suddenly sent flying by an unexpected kick.
"Wukong isn't the only one protecting Nami-san's smile!" Sanji announced, landing gracefully. He immediately turned into his lovesick mode, waving at Nami, who responded with an awkward smile. Sanji then made quick work of the remaining ordinary Fishmen, his legs blurring into afterimages as he struck their vital points.
On the other side, Hatchan unleashed his "Six-Sword Waltz," descending like a meat grinder. Wukong simply commanded his staff to grow, thrusting it upward. The Ruyi Jingu Bang shattered Hatchan's six swords, and a follow-up sweep sent the octopus Fishman crashing into the park's pool. Hatchan emerged and summoned the sea cow, Moo-Moo. However, the moment Moo-Moo saw Wukong—remembering their previous encounter—it fled back into the sea in terror.
Arlong sat up from the rubble, his face swollen. He was in a state of fury upon seeing his fallen comrades. Sanji suggested that Wukong handle Arlong while he took care of Hatchan.
The final confrontation began. Arlong dove into the pool and shot out like a rocket, his saw-like nose pointed at Wukong. Wukong avoided the high-speed charges. To gain the advantage, Wukong launched himself into the air. Arlong followed, believing Wukong was a sitting duck without leverage.
Using "Moonwalk," Wukong shifted his trajectory mid-air. His tail snaked out, wrapping around Arlong's ankle. "Now you can't run away!" Wukong declared. He pulled himself close and unleashed a devastating barrage of punches that caved in Arlong's chest and back.
Finally, Wukong extended his staff dozens of meters. He swung the Ruyi Jingu Bang like the hammer of a god, slamming Arlong down into the main building of Arlong Park. The structure, which had been Nami's prison for eight years, collapsed with a roar, burying Arlong and Nami's past pain beneath the ruins.
Sanji finished off Hatchan, and all the Fishmen lay defeated. Wukong landed and smiled at Nami.
"Nami-san! I avenged you!!"
Tears fell from Nami's eyes as she smiled brilliantly and nodded heavily. "Mm!!"
