Chapter 1 - Chapter 0: Fables

Let us make an exchange—

—an exchange of memories...

I dreamt of a ray of light through a crystal chalice, the light that shone from the crystal spoke to me; listen, to the parable of the forgotten stories.

The Divine ones,

The Godless ones,

All fell from the grace of His Garden, clasped their hands in absolute surrender.

Go now, in the end you will intertwine with the stories once foretold by the past winds, and awaken from your slumber in my embrace and march towards the truth..

In the first breath of life, the first creation was created of light, fulfilling their role as sinless servant of their creator.

They're the closest of beings to the mighty creator, living an eternal life of servitude and absolute submission.

Then, came fire.

Their bodies were set ablaze by their own existence.

They formed a body of their own as they grew arrogant to become the master of their own fate.

At last, creation was born of clay.

Seven different clays were gathered from the edges of the world — piled into flesh, blood and bone.

He was named Adam, the first man and the leader of mankind.

Thus, the creator created a garden in which he named Eden, the Eternal Garden for every creation.

And He promised, whoever had done good deeds in their life, a palace of gold and diamond shall be built for them in the Eternal Land where they'll last in bliss and joy.

But life was never black and white.

Years after the forgotten promises, creations were divided by their own greeds and worldly possessions.

They drew borders across the land and became the claimant of the ground which they never owned.

The humankin, the demonkin, the elven, the orcs, the dwarfs, the centaurs, the fairies.

None of them spared a thought for the other as greed possessed them beyond the promised haven.

But greed doesn't stop to bow before gold, it drives them to the point of bloodshed.

The demonkin waged war against the elven and the children of humanity in an act of spite against the wealth both realms held, marking the beginning of a horrible conquest.

Soon enough, when the news reached the surrounding realms, creations were divided into two opposing factions.

The orcs joined forces with the demonkin to fulfil their warmongering desire of destroying the lesser beings whilst the dwarfs and the elven collaborated with the human empire under the banner of unity against the aggression.

Yet the horseman and the flying fairies stayed silent throughout the conflict.

The centaurs safekeep their temples on the far away mountains, isolating themselves from the harsh of the war.

While the fairies hide behind their trees, hoping that one day magic will restore peace among the people.

As the war prolonged, both sides took a massive hit, the toll of death kept on rising by the day, and no life was spared by the severity of the endless battles.

Even so, the demonkin and the orcs pressed further, marching into the doorstep of their enemies — they were certain of their unpromised victory.

In that moment, the ruler of the human realm realized; unity will not bring them the victory they desperately struggled to achieve.

They must enforce a new law on earth, a rule that breaks the law of human nature.

They must enforce "Order".

To achieve such, they called upon the divine whom they have long forgotten, and once again announced His name and sovereignty over their fate like the lost sheep and the shepherd.

With haste, the Lord answered their cries to salvation, he sent down armies from heaven in the form of an angelic blessing.

Warriors with faith shone brightly as the cloud dispersed to give way to the radiant ray of light as it engulfed the Celestia Knights in their magnificence.

Among them was selected by Seraphim the Eternity, crushing hordes of foes.

Chayot, the General of Order.

Thrones, the Grace of Absolute.

Metatron, the Executor of His Law.

Dominions, the Enforcer of His Law.

Michael, the Commander of His Army.

Gabriel, the Messenger of His Scripture.

Raphael, the Bearer of His Mercy.

Uriel, the Guardian of His Garden.

And Chamuel, the Peacekeeper.

Granted the mercy of heaven, the human race pushed back on the demonkin's endless march towards their territory — cleansing the realm from the threat of evil.

By the time a hundred years went by, the war came to a stop as the orcs forces retreated back into their territory and the Demon King announced their surrender.

It was the first time in a century that the world was finally given the time to breathe.

But that was not the end of the tale. Even after the war, conflicts would occur, one way or another.

And in hindsight, the most unexpected event came to light.

A human from the lineage of Eve, and a demonkin born of fire fell in mutual love, eventually leading both of them to a sinful pleasure.

Blinded by lust and affection, they were oblivious of what boundary they had crossed, the womb of the human woman now bearing the seed of a demon lineage.

When the girl was born into the world, she was left all alone, sheltered only by mother nature whilst the responsible ones ran far away from their own duty…

And thus, the child named Sylvia was forced to live under the constant burden of the chain put on to her.
