Chapter 34 - Episode 9: “The Final War Begins”

The mansion lights flickered once…

Then everything went silent.

Kabir stood frozen in front of the activated system.

Anaya's hand still held his.

And somewhere far away…

Aarav was waiting.

📡 Suddenly—

Every screen in the city turned on.

Not just the mansion.

Everywhere.

Aarav's face appeared.

Calm.

Unshaken.

Almost peaceful.

Aarav:

"So it has reached this point…"

Kabir stepped forward.

"Stop this madness."

Aarav didn't react.

Instead, he looked directly into the camera.

And then at Anaya.

"My madness?"

"No Kabir…"

"This is grief… organized into action."

Anaya stepped closer to the screen.

"Why are you doing this to everyone?"

Aarav's expression softened.

For a second… he looked like a broken man.

"Because I already lost everything once."

"And I won't lose her again."

Kabir's voice sharpened:

"You already did."

Silence.

That hit deeper than any attack.

Aarav's eyes darkened.

"No."

"She didn't die because of fate."

"She died because the world is built on corruption…"

"And you… are part of that system now."

Anaya suddenly stepped forward.

Her voice clear.

Strong.

"Then punish the system…"

"Not innocent people."

Aarav looked at her.

Long silence.

Then softly:

"You are the system's result."

Kabir moved instantly.

"You're losing control."

Aarav smiled faintly.

"No Kabir…"

"I am finally in control."

Suddenly—

💥 The mansion power grid shut down completely.

Darkness.

Total blackout.

Security alarms stopped.

Doors unlocked.

Systems died.

Kabir clenched his jaw.

"He's taking everything offline…"

Anaya whispered:

"What happens now?"

Kabir answered calmly:

"Now… we are on our own."

Outside—

Heavy footsteps echoed.

Unknown forces approaching the mansion.

Kabir grabbed Anaya's hand tightly.

"We leave. Now."

Anaya resisted slightly.

"What about him?"

Kabir looked at her.

Serious.

"This isn't about saving him anymore."

"It's about saving you."

Meanwhile—

Aarav stood alone in his control room.

Watching everything collapse.

Yet he didn't panic.

He only whispered:

"Good…"

"Now the real meeting begins."

Back at the mansion—

Kabir and Anaya reached the underground exit.

But—

It was blocked.

Kabir's eyes sharpened.

"Aarav predicted everything…"

Anaya stepped back slowly.

"So we're trapped…"

Kabir turned toward her.

Softly:

"No."

"We're exactly where he wants us."

📡 A final message appeared on the wall screen.

Aarav's voice.

Calm.

Close.

Aarav:

"Kabir…"

"Bring her to the old factory."

"Only you… and her."

"No army."

"No system."

"Just truth."

Silence.

Anaya whispered:

"If we go… it could be a trap."

Kabir looked at her.

And for the first time…

He didn't answer immediately.

Then quietly:

"Every step since this began… has been a trap."

"But this one…"

"…is the end."

He held her hand tighter.

And stepped forward.

Anaya followed.

Because no matter the fear…

She still trusted him more than the chaos.

Far away—

Aarav watched their movement on the map.

His eyes softened.

"Come…"

"Let me see who she chooses when everything burns."
