Rim Young blinked in shock. How could he let that hit Wi Hajoon right in front of him? His heart had stopped as no one between them spoke a word, and just then, Rim Young's eyes that were fixed on the spot the flowerpot had smashed against saw a thin stream of crimson slowly trickle through Wi Hajoon's silver hair. It slid down the side of his temple before dripping steadily onto the ground.
"...."
Wi Hajoon barely reacted. His head tilted ever so slightly from the impact, his expression remaining the same, as though he hadn't even realized he had been hit. Rim Young immediately pulled his head down into his embrace, putting his hand firmly over the wound, trying to stem the bleeding.
"Do I really have to come home from an exhausting vacation only to see this kind of nonsense?"
Rim Junhee walked over to them, forgetting her suitcase at the gate.
"Nuna!!"
Rim Young's voice rose in exasperation.
"What? Why are you raising your voice at me?"
