Lirien's POV
It had been almost two weeks since we came home from the hospital. My body was still recovering from giving birth to triplets. I felt sore and tired most of the time. Sitting for too long made my back hurt. Walking around the house was slow and careful. The doctors had told me this was normal after having three babies, especially for the first time. But every time I looked at our children, all the tiredness felt worth it.
They were so small and beautiful. Their tiny hands, soft hair, and sweet cries made my heart feel full every single day.
Sara had been staying with us to help. She was like a real mother to me and a loving grandmother to the babies. She woke up early every morning to make breakfast. She cooked soft, healthy food for me so I could get stronger. She also helped with the babies, feeding them, changing diapers, and rocking them to sleep when they cried at night.
