Ethan's POV
The tension in the air was so thick you could almost cut it with a knife. Jax and Theo stood just inches away from me. Their bodies were tight like coiled springs, full of Alpha power. I could feel their instincts screaming at me, they saw me as a threat, a predator who had come too close to their Omega.
Jax did not look at me right away. His eyes stayed locked on William, his voice tight with worry and protection. "William, who is this? Why is he talking to you?"
William looked small and nervous between them. His eyes moved quickly from his brother to me. "It's… it's him, Jax. The stranger from the mall."
I kept my face calm and my hands relaxed at my sides. I knew how this looked to them. I was an Enigma, something rare and different in their world, and I had stepped into their territory. Still, I offered Jax a small, polite smile and held out my hand.
