Theo's POV
The phone call changed everything.
One moment, Jax and I had been asleep.
The next, we were sitting upright in bed, staring at each other in complete shock.
"The babies are here."
Those four words were enough to wake us up faster than any alarm clock.
And then came the second shock.
Triplets.
Actual triplets.
I still couldn't believe it.
Three babies.
Three.
Lirien had really done it.
The second Vael ended the call, I jumped out of bed.
"No way."
I ran a hand through my messy hair.
"No way. No way. No way."
Jax was already climbing out of bed too.
His face looked just as stunned as mine.
"Triplets," he muttered.
"Triplets."
We stared at each other.
Then we both started laughing.
Not because it was funny.
Because we were happy.
Overwhelmingly happy.
"I told you they would be adorable."
"They were literally just born."
"And?"
Jax shook his head.
"You are impossible."
"I'm right though."
